I'm super happy with this purchase. The instructions were easy to follow to set up, use, and close! The delivery went smoothly with no damage. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to get it on the rooftop (being a single mom), but between some ingenuity the kids and I were able to get it up there no problem, although it is pretty heavy. I've traveled on the expressway now with it on the rooftop several times and no issues whatsoever at 75mph (and even 86 mph when I was late getting to pick up my child after a sports game even though it says recommended max speed is 75mph). The spring releases and power lifts on it make it very easy to set up and close. My only suggestion is making the ladder steps (once attached to the tent) horizontal with the ground instead of horizontal standing straight up (as if it wasn't attached to the tent). I would caution a very tall person that is expecting to fit 3 people because I don't think it would work for a tall person (I'm 5'6" and was almost touching end to end when not laying diagonally). The sleep mat is super comfy. Lastly, the luggage rack bars to include a Thule (for example) on top is fantastic if the need arises although I've not tried that yet or driven down the road with that attached yet.

The media could not be loaded. So far I’ve used this tent one time it performed above my expectations. We had unexpected rain and wind and this tent held up very nicely. It has al the feature those expensive ones have at a good price. I would definitely recommend 5 out of 5.

Took a couple weeks longer than expected to ship but it arrived in good condition. The tent has a decent profile which sits about 7' on my Tacoma with a 3" lift on 33" tires. The mounting bolt were too short for my bed rack so I had to buy bolts with were an inch longer. The interior was very nice with liners and pouches on the ceiling and an led strip which plugs into a USB port. The ladder comes with a pouch, 2 shoe bags were included, and there is a roof rack kit that bolts to the top of the tent rails. The c channel rail around the top and bottom of the tent makes it convenient to bolt on other accessories with just a square nut and screw. The only complaint I have would be with how the sides of the tent near the front don't really tuck in when closing the clam shell. If not careful, it actually folds down and seats between the weatherstrip seal. Otherwise, this tent was very close to what I was looking for. It does weigh about 170 lbs, which is a bit on the heavy side and can be a bit hard to lift onto a raised vehicle.

The media could not be loaded. This tent encountered various problems from the moment of receiving. For such heavy items, the outer layer only used a very thin packaging. The top of tent was depressed everywhere. The zippers of all the window are not smooth and it is difficult to operate. Second, there are some dust on the mattress and ladder, and it feels like it has been used.This is not comfortable. In addition, when I started installing the tent, I found that the set accessories were very thin, so I welded another bracket,which was not in my mind at that time. Until the first rainy day camping outside that my wife and I woke up in the middle of the night with wet clothes, found the tent mattress floor leaking, and ended up sleeping in the car for the night. I can't accept use the tent anymore. My beautiful journey originally planned has become a big problem, a very disappointed shopping!

This tent is awesome. It is very high-quality and if you’re looking to get one for the desert, this is it you can unpack and pack within the five minutes. I leave my blankets and pillows inside and it closes perfect. It has sustain high winds at Glamis and Ocotillo and don’t feel a thing, you do hear a little bit of the flapping, but I don’t mind it. I know what I sign up when I go to the desert. It gets really windy at night I’m talking about 35 to 40 miles an hour wind and it did not shake my tent!! It also comes with some cross rails you can add on top of the tent, which you can see on the picture if you’re looking For a tent that comes with one this is it I can also go through drive-through car washes if it helps and I drive a bronco

Overall, I enjoy this tent. I have spent around 15 nights in it so far with no significant issues. The mattress is better than expected, and I particularly enjoy the window located in the top above the back door, which you can leave open when it rains. As far as I know, it is a lower-priced version of the other ones you see on amazon. It is probably the same tent, and for that I love it. I would ABSOLUTELY by it again instead of the alternatives. I keep the ladder and a sleeping bag in there when it is shut with no problem. Positives: - The mattress is decent, but if I was going to spend more than a week at a time in it I would consider replacing it. - The condensation pad seems to work well. - clear pocket for ipad to watch movies in the top portion when open. - usb powered lights - comes with roof rails to mount things to the top of it, such as a solar panel or traction boards. - comes with a ladder bag so you can keep the ladder inside the tent when you close it. Cons: - Had a problem at first with water getting into the tent when it was closed. The best fix for this so far is to shut the rainproof layer on the sides and tuck the rainproof one in under the edge in the back. - Ladder: It does not have partial height latching. If you do not fully extend the ladder, it might move a little bit. Not a huge deal, just annoying. Tips: - The rain fly poles are WAY easier to get in if you attach the pole to the bracket before attaching it to the rain fly. - Buy some extrusion handles and slide them into the rails on the tent. Makes opening and closing way easier without the fear of falling.
