Not sure about the experience from the previous customer but I switched from a Smittybilt XL to the OVS Nomadic 4. I cannot find one thing I dislike about it. It's quality from the ground up. I like the addition of the bungee cords to assist with putting the tent down and the multiple freebies I got along with my tent when I purchased it. A hand broom and dust tray, ovs storage bags, a mat for underneath the ladder and not to mention a few others. The mattress and pillows included are amazing. I would suggest to other customers to pull the mattress out and to allow it to "rise" because if this thing is stored with gear inside the mattress will flatten but again it will rise within an hour or so. I bought this tent in November of 2020. After the first weekend in the tent we found out that the so called 3'' high density memory foam mattress was extremely uncomfortable. After looking for ways to improve the sleeping quality we finally took the mattress to a foam shop where they do custom upholstery and he unzipped the mattress cover and took one look at and said that's not 3'' and isn't high density foam. He gave us a price to make another mattress and cover and it was around $500 for the 3'' memory foam. I was like there is no way in spending $500 on a tent that i had just spent $1500 that is suppose to have to same thing. I called OVS and they asked me for pics of the mattress with a tape measure to show the thickness and I did and a long story short it is February 18th and still dealing this this issue. as of now they will not even respond to my emails!!!! so if you have one of these tents check your mattress I bet its not what you payed for.. Very disappointed in OVS!!!! I just want what I payed for!!!! ... show more
