The media could not be loaded. I purchased this set of lamps for our master bedroom with a King bed. We installed them by hardwiring in the wall above our electrical outlets, so there is no electrical cord to plug them in. These lamps do come however, with a plug so you are able to hang them on the wall and plug them into an outlet. We cut off the plug and hardwired them in the wall directly to the outlet. They look beautiful in our bedroom. I was afraid that they would be too small in our large 15‘ x 12‘ bedroom with a king bed but they are the perfect size. The shades come flat and you connect them to the lamp frame in a 360° form. They are made of real canvas material , warm Waite with brown cross hatch threads and trimmed at the top and bottom of the shade. The inner shade is made up of a slick plastic. The shade frame is white, where the Lamp style is black. Light bulbs are LED and do not heat up but provide plenty of light. The adjustable arm is stiff and holds the lamp in place. You may push the lamp back towards the wall or pull out closer over your bed. I normally purchase lamps from a brick and mortar store so I can inspect the quality. I am extremely happy I took a chance on these lamps. We have had them now for almost a year and they are holding up well. My favorite feature is the on/off dial, which allows you to turn the light brightness up or down. My husband can have his light on at the lower setting and still be able to get ready for bed and it does not interfere with me sleeping on my side. The dial does make a click when you turn it on and off so you know that you have cut the electricity current to the lamp. You do have the ability to dial down the brightness all the way without turning off the current and the light will be out completely. Sometimes I use this feature so the click sound does not wake up my husband. I would purchase again if I needed lamps in another bedroom. ... show more

I bought these to update sconces that were showing their age. I was able to use the existing mounting bracket so installation was a breeze! It would have been a simple installation anyway. First, let me start off with lamp shade, you have to wrap it around the shade frame to put it together but it looks good. There is a noticeable seam but I turned the shade toward the back wall so you can't really see it. The light dims nicely with 100% range and it comes with LED bulbs. We recently set up a king-sized bed in a 10' wide area, which left us very little on each side of the bed. I found a pair of end tables also here on Amazon that worked great, but they are so small I did not want to try to put a tabletop lamp on either one. We gave these wall-mounted lamps a try, and after a bit of fiddling with installation (it could have honestly been designed a bit better, but was not impossible) they have worked well. My only concern is the dimming switch--you turn the light on and it is at a dim setting. You have to rotate the switch all the way around to high...then back again to turn it off. I do not feel the switch itself is going to last all that long with daily use...it has been a few months so far with no actual problem but it just does not feel sturdy enough to give me much confidence in a long-term performance. The lights are attractive, a good size, and are doing a good job--but this not a high-end solution by any means, and that should be kept in mind. ... show more

East set up. I added cord covers and painted them the wall color. I also plugged then into a remote controlled outlet so I don’t have to turn on at the lamp. This is the second set I’ve ordered.

We had wall mounted lights before these and they were way too bright! Love the dimmer, love they came with bulbs and they were easy to install. Dislike is the shade. It’s pretty cheap…. But for the price I will replace!

We love these wall lights! If you want the dimmer on often, they keep flickering. I'm not sure if it's the light fixture or the bulb. We haven't had a chance to try a new dimmer bulb.
