Description

Developed to improve precision and accuracy with any style or caliber of weapon, the Trijicon RMR (Ruggedized Miniature Reflex) is designed to be as durable as the legendary ACOG. The RM05 is a battery free sight, featuring Trijicon fiber optics and tritium. Housed in rugged forged aluminum, the RMR is extremely tough yet lightweight. New easy-to-use adjusters with audible clicks allow for quick windage and elevation adjustments. The Trijicon RMR is tougher than any alternative and suitable for military, law enforcement and hunting applications. The small size and rugged design makes the Trijicon RMR adaptable to many weapon platforms, including pistols.

  • Great sight, people dont understand value of....
I dont see what all the griping is about. It's a cross breed between irons and a red dot, definately worth it, IMHO. Best of both worlds. I talked to Trijicon Customer Support, the brightest and easiest to pick up is the smaller Green Dot. The large Triangle is using the same fiberoptic but spread and covered to make a Triangle, hence the lower brightness, same amount of light but spread thinner, basically. And green is obviously brighter and easier on the eye to pick up over the amber. So I went green 7 MOA. Took mine to the range today and it worked flawlessly. Granted, it's not retina burning like my Aimpoint Micro can be, but that's ok. It still works and when you train your eye to catch it, it's easy. In some wierd way, it actually works better that's it's a tad light and larger MOA. You learn to super impose it over the target fast more than a brighter smaller MOA, but this is probably personal preference/training. As from dark areas to light? Ok, I suppose thats an issue, but every sight has its issue, especially auto dimming dots. But I, in no way see this to be a deterent from buying one. My Aimpoint Micro is sometimes set on super high in the sun, get in the dark woods and it suddenly burns my eyes, lol. That's an issue, too. So you can never win, sorry guys. And as for washing out with a flashlight? Buy a light with a laser then, or just use to center of the flashlight beam, resort back to irons. Again, my AP Micro, set at low for no light? Turn on light it's almost gone, set high for light? Then its retina burning when lights go off. Every dot has issues in some form or another. This one is no exception, but rather the norm on it's own way. You have to give with some of the take. The beauty of this sight is this..... minus the Tritium, I can keep this in a box or in my "drawer" gun for literally 10 years, and it's still good to go, Tritium may be, too, who knows. For 20 years in theory, my kid could unpack it and use it once he's older. The Tritium will be gone, but not the fiber optic. AMD he can replace the tritium. It's the cross breed between irons and red dot. It's always there with no maintanence (like irons), but has fast targeting and less parallax (like red dot). To me that's worth the money, maybe not my one and only optic, but when it outlast my others, it may become my one and only. No batteries, no corrosion, not who the heck knows, it just stopped, no humidity concerns, etc. Think of all the reasons that make this optic good vs the bad. Theres much more good, IMHO. ... show more

  • Trijicon Dual Green Illumination Sight - Very Cool
I started using luminescent green pins as a bow hunter, and came to appreciate the fact that green is visible longer in low light / into twilight than red. Likewise, I was stoked to find this Trijicon w/ green fiber optic dot, and am impressed at how bright the green is even in broad daylight. An Excellent innovation! ... show more

  • Don’t buy it unless you want a $500 paperweight
Way to dim to be usable and definitely don’t buy from Eurooptic unless you want a headache
