This newest bed accessory is definitely a keeper! Yes, it may tip a bit if not moved with care on carpet and, yes, instructions are not written out but, for me, this multifunctional item is so worth having! All parts arrived on time, intact, and fit well together. The delivery person was professionally pleasant. I wanted a Bible study spot for my morning devotions without having to leave the comfort of my bed (whatever it takes….). I looked at and compared all types of models, features, prices, reviews, looked at those 1-star pictures and then took the plunge anyway. So glad I did because the overbed table desk is perfectly sized for my older Sleep Number queen-size bed, has a sturdy and substantial feel, is decor-friendly, contains more than ample space for study materials and other items, and was up and rolling in well under an hour from unpacking to assembly and placement. I looked longingly at a sleek one from a different company, selling for hundreds more and the differences between the two didn’t justify the heftier price for me: 1) manual adjustment and 2) no visible screws. My more economically-priced item fits so well over the adjustable bed that no table adjustment is needed, even when the bed surface is level. I do wish the screws were hidden or at least white and less visible for a smoother finished look but the overall quality, price and functionality of the table overshadows the thought. I highly recommend this product!

Now that I have this together, I love it as much as I thought I would when seeing the photos. (If you need help, see my assembly notes at the bottom.) PROS: -- Sturdy - IF you make sure to tighten and secure all the bolts and screws. All of the hardware was top quality & the tools were too. I notice that I got at least 1 extra of every piece of the hardware (screws/bolts etc.) --Scratch resistant. I put something under my laptop but I have noticed that the surface of this item does not scratch easily. --The wheels lock of needed- all of them. I lock the 2 furthest from me and when I want to move the table to get up, I just push the unlocked side closest to me. --This doesn't tip easily & mine is on carpet - HOWEVER, make sure that there are no cords, shoes, etc. in the way. If the wheels roll over or bump into an obstruction, the table could tip. -- Attractive. This adds a bit of something-ness to a room. I use it in my bedroom and it's gorgeous without being "frilly". I tried it out in the living room against my windows and... I might have to get another just for that. I would get that one in brown or black though. -- Very useful - not just for someone stuck in bed a lot (as I am) but for others. If you like to read in bed or do puzzles and other relaxing things - this is perfect. Before I had this, I was using my laptop in bed, studying, etc. Every evening, I had to move everything off the bed just to put it back the next time. Now I can roll this to the foot or the bed and - done. CONS: There is just one: the very unclear & unnecessarily unclear instructions. I could not find one helpful video online either! I know that some people found this easy to assemble but not everyone has the same good visual logic skills & apparently, I am part dummy. BTW: I recently put together a lift-top coffee table with zero problems... I will try to add what I can from my experience it if helps. All my notes are given as if you are looking at their instruction sheet. First, a note: The instructions make the assembly look difficult & seem as if you have to put the entire thing together with the legs pointing up. Once you attach the legs, attach the wheels, then turn the table right side up to add the surface shelf. That's much easier, IMO. 1. See my photos for the screws and their labels. Separate them into their own piles 2. When you are going to attach the legs (parts# 1) to the 2 side pieces (parts# 2) the legs attach to the OUTSIDE. I couldn't figure out why the holes didn't line up. 3. Attach all the screws lightly until you are ready to turn the table over and put on the top (part# 3). 4. Don't try putting the shelf (part# 3) on with the legs up. That doesn't work. Once you have the legs and wheels on, turn the table right side up. NOW put on the shelf - part#3. (Otherwise, you will think the table is too big for the rest of the setup!) You will have to scoot underneath to attach the part# D screws/bolts. After this, it gets easy. Attach the backboard (part# 5) using the pegs and the side pieces (part# 4). When you are done, go back and tighten ALL the bolts, screws, and nuts. Last of all, now that I have mine up and in use, I would suggest using a fridge liner to protect the surface. The liners are colorful (or you can get them clear) and don't slide around on the surface.

I have wanted an over the bed desk forever! I have lots of health issues, and I’m stuck in bed a lot, ugh. I would have books, papers, computer, tablets, earbuds, etc all over my bed (the dog and cat complained). Now I have an attractive and organized work area, and my bed is no longer a mess. It was pretty easy to assemble, and pretty sturdy. I have low pile carpet and it rolls pretty easy. I have a full size bed, so having a larger desk for a Queen/King might make it more difficult to roll (due to size and weight). My bed is also an antique iron bed that is quite high (Princess and the Pea High), and the desk still clears my legs without issue. I have the white, and it is very attractive (not like a hospital tray). I believe with proper care and handling it will have a long service life. So happy I could get it during Amazon Days Sale! * you really could use this as a counter/breakfast bar with stools if needed, way cool!

This is a beefy desk/table. It comes with very simple, if vague, picture instructions, but common sense prevails and you can figure it out easily. While it is a cheap desk, it is quite solid. The wood is thick and sturdy. The legs are thick enough metal to withstand any normal use. The downsides... The first time I used it I put it over my legs. Big mistake. When you bend your knees involuntarily, you knock over the desk because it is too heavy due to its narrow design. My Samsung View went tumbling off the end of the bed because I had raised my legs and the desk tipped forward. The tablet is heavy and snapped three of the dowels holding the top trim wall on. Thankfully, I am a messy person and had a pile of clothes at the end of the bed, which saved the tablet from a hard crash. An inexpensive purchase of some standard dowels will fix the trim piece, so I am not worried about it. Just be aware it is unstable if tipped slightly due to its tall stance and thin design. If you get used to its tipsy nature, I am sure it will be a nice sturdy desk that will last you a long time.
