Product Care Instructions: POLYWOOD® material is made of HDPE plastic resin that has been purified and UV protected. It is generally cared for and cleaned with soap and warm water. For certain stains and additional cleaning power, a 1/3 bleach and 2/3 water solution can be used on the product without affecting the color. Also, a popular method of cleaning is a high-pressure power wash. (Not to exceed 1,500 psi) The surface characteristics of the product may require the use of a soft bristle brush to get into the creases.

Love the product, but be careful when assembling. Included screws can strip very easily if the alan wrench isn't jammed all the way into the head of the screw completely. Also, this color is very attractive, but really gets warm when directly in the sun.

Bought this primarily for durability and maintenance free. The assembly is pretty easy. Just follow the instructions.. all the screw types for the chairs are the same with the exception of the table the table uses a torx screw were the chairs use an Allen. I was lucky I caught that because I would’ve stripped out the torx screws. I hate inconsistencies with companies. Trex gets three stars for stupidity for the screws. ... show more

I keep these on my balcony at the beach. All the sea spray and salt hasn't affected these chairs and table one bit! They really are built to last. It was easy to put together, and came with the tools needed. Very sturdy and high quality product. Comfortable with or without cushions!

I was so happy with my first Monterey table set which we bought six years ago. Finally we had furniture that could withstand the salt air from the ocean and didn’t get thrown on a trash heap every few years. Our first set was the "Stepping Stone" color and it's still going strong six years later. For the 2nd and 3rd sets, I decided to go with white to complement our deck railings. All was well for one year then I started to notice orange streaks underneath the table top and down the legs. I am so dissatisfied that Trex would use cheaper metal on these. Our first table set still has not rusted so I know they used non-galvanized metal in the newer sets table tops. Such a disappointment! Sadly, even with their 20 year warranty, I looked it up and they have an exclusion for rust, so let the buyer beware. Nice set. Very heavy! Took a while to assemble even with two people! Invest in a tip for your drill and it will help speed the process. The table is a bit wobbly but I don't feel that it's dangerous. I do believe it will last a long time at the beach house. Other products don't last more than a few years in the salt air so this is going to be nice. ... show more

Furnitures is amazing quality and very comfortable. Only complaint I have is that on every chair one of the pre-drilled holes was missing on the arm rest. I was able to make my own though fairly easily.
