I wanted a good quality battery charger but didn’t want to spend too much. I have two older VW Diesels that don’t start well or at all if their batteries aren’t up to it. Since one of them is not driven much I found the battery was weak and had to jump start it to get it going. I came across this charger. Based on the reviews, feature and product description I bought it. I used it for the first time to charge a battery that read below 50% and set the amps for the lowest rate. After about 24 hours the battery was up to 100% and when I put it back in the car it had no problems starting it right up. I just really hope the charger lasts?

Charges my 24V battery OK but does not maintain the charge. I have a trailer and use it once a week or so. After charging it will let the battery fall off to less than 50% charge. So every time I use the trailer I have to go out a few hours before and hit the charging button.

So happy I got this. My car has been checked over and over and they say nothing is wrong but if my car hasn't been driven in 2 days it dies. It has a brand new battery but I know there is a short somewhere. This charger has saved my car from dying. I love the fact once it's completely charged it turns itself off and back on again if needed...... This has been a life saver 🙂

You just power on and clamp it to your car's battery, and it'll detect the power level and voltage of the battery. It was pretty easy to use. I just select my battery type and hit the power button to start charging.

Works when it wants to. Thew mine away on the second use. Bought for charging 24v systems. Worked the first use just fine. Second use after two days of checking and reading the manual it went in the trash.

Very confusing to use it always charge at 2.5 Amp it will not stay on 10 Amp or higher it will never charge a low battery at this rate. If your in a hurry don't buy this one.
