Used this on a trip this summer was perfect for heating up water for coffee and tea. Collapsed well so that it fit into suitcase without any problems. Only negative thing is that you have to keep an eye on it and make sure there is enough water in the pot.     • It just works!
Used for travelling for work - I'm a big tea drinker and, well, the U.S is not set up for this. I also brought a 1.7L thermal carafe in my luggage for a teapot. I used bottle water and needed to boil three times for a full carafe. This kettle was just fine for the job. It packed up well and just worked. I think a 3 minute boil from cold is exaggerating but it was not too long. The ONLY problem I had was the time it took for the heating element to restart if I wasn't paying attention and it went off the boil.. I tried unplugging to see if it reset the thermostat in any way - but I guess it's just what it is. I did over-fill it a bit each time and it does spit boiling water if you do this. You also have to take care that this is a flexible container and treat it so - if you are not paying attention you could scald yourself but all it takes is 'adulting'. ... show more

Great travel size and storage case. I am using this while traveling for tea, coffee and hot water for oatmeal. The unit heats up quickly and will turn off automatically if you forget. I am pleasantly surprised at how functional and compact this unit is. Going to get one for a friend as a gift.

I purchased this for a trip to Pakistan so I could enjoy coffee in my room. It was perfect for my needs. Dual voltage option. The handle comes off.( I had to watch video again cause I couldn’t figure out how to disconnect from side) do hold handle as you are pouring liquid at lower spot. Steam releases out the lid and can burn. Super fast boil. I give it two thumbs up! ... show more
