Ordered two scooters in October2023. For myself and for my husband. One scooter which was my husbands and blue seams to work fine. Mine which was red we could never get it to work, all it would do is beep. We did troubleshooting, but nothing would make the scooter work. We boxed it all up and sent it back which cost us over $100.00 to ship back. Then we were notified we would have to pay over $400.00 in restocking fees. I contacted Amazon and trying the third time I thought maybe it was going to be taken care of. But when I received my statement form the credit card company they did not refund the restocking fee. Very disappointed, why should I have to pay a restocking fee on a scooter that wouldn’t work? I want to reorder scooter, but I am out of over $500.00 on shipping fees and restocking fees and don’t have a scooter. ... show more

Same month I bought this scooter the front wheel fell off. The bearing broke, I was on vacation in a different state. I called the mobility company and they sent me new wheel right away. All I had to do was text them a couple pics by text. Expecting in a day or two. These people were wonderful. Great product. You know things can go wrong. Great concept and functionality, but poorly engineered. This is my second scooter of this model. The first had so many reliability problems I had to replace it. I wasn't going to buy this brand again, but it was the only scooter I could find that meets all my needs. I needed something I could travel with, sturdy, not easily tipped, with sufficient ground clearance for sightseeing, approved for airplane travel, and easily folded to fit in my SUV, so I didn't have to get a huge handicapped van. It does all that well. I did have to install a lift hook on the frame to attach to the lift I had installed in my SUV. I am using the scooter because of severe back issues, so I don't lift 50 lb scooters. The video shows the scooter being lifted by attaching to the steering column. I don't think you could do this very often without damaging the steering column. I find if I lean on the steering column, or put too much weight in the basket, it tends to slide down. The baskets sold for the scooter are too small to even hold my purse, so i use a larger bicycle basket. (The steering column shape - curved - is not compatible with bicycle basket shapes - straight, so I had to use tie-wraps & snap hooks to attach.). Problems with scooter. Plastic covers over wheels that you put your feet on, fall off. Lever under back of scooter for putting scooter in gear gets knocked easily when folded scooter is put in and out of SUV. It doesn't want to go back into position. I have had to spend 5-10 minutes playing with it to get the scooter to move again. Really hate this in a dark parking lot or when it stating to rain. Little hub caps on wheels fall off. Screws come out. They go back in at peculiar difficult to access angles. First scooter bit the dust when I bent the frame. It took a hard landing when being lifted off a bus, then I drove it into a curb I didn't see at a fairly high speed. After that it kinked when folding, and soon after it just started making a growling noise and would not move. I kept it for spare parts. Second scooter seems to have stronger foot panels., but the battery doesn't seem as robust. It discharges faster, I would not attempt to use the full 13 mile advertised range without a backup. Also top speed on the newer scooter seems slower. However, this scooter gives me my freedom and independence back. Its a love-hate relationship. ... show more

Delta said NO. Lithium Ion battery must be below 160WH this comes with a 252WH and clearly states on the battery. Airline also said all approved batteries will clearly be stamped on the battery that the meet FAA travel guidelines. mine says made in China... kind of disappointed bought to use on our vacations and now I cant get it on the plane unless i leave the battery behind (what's the point of that) ... show more

Purchased this scooter for my wife as I got her a larger non folding scooter which was difficult for doctors visit and inside stores. This little scooter is great and easy to travel with. Only negative thing is the button has to be pressed twice to open and the switch in the rear gets hit sometimes when in the rear of van and puts the scooter into neutral which can be confusing when trying to move. ... show more

We have just unpacked our scooter (after watching some helpful YouTube videos) and it is now on the charger. I won't say it's the neatest thing since sliced bread because it's way cooler than that! The online videos explain all the new features version 2 has which weren't on the previous model. We are so impressed with how the scooter folds and unfolds with the push of a button on the remote. When folded, it will easily fit in the back of our car, and in our basement closet when it's not in use. It also came with a spare key and a spare battery for the remote. If you need something quick, ask FEDEX! The drivers knew me and because I am handicapped, they ran this out to me ASAP. They made sure I was okay and got to me in case I was in trouble. Thank you FEDEX! I am okay. This scooter is just the perfect fit for my small body. I have 8 total joint replacements in my body. Somedays I need help getting around. My trusty Rascal 600T is over 20 years old and I wanted something easier to travel with.
