We bought the 12 inch and liked it enough to then buy this 10 inch. I can't speak to longevity, but they are sturdy, cook well, and The handle grip doesn't overheat. I find them to be excellent value at this price point. And i have looked at a lot of pans before buying these. I did buy a 12 inch Blue Diamond from walmart at the same price a few months ago, and these blow that one away by far. The walmart pan was what i expected at this price: serviceable but just ok with a non stick coating that's not very non stick (it requires scrubbing with a gentle faux-metal scrubber to get stuck food off). These are a big step up from that Blue Diamond. These are truly non stick and durable (at least in the short term, which is so far all i can speak to). ... show more

I don't think it is every worth it to spend $100+ on the more sought after brands of non-stick pans. The coating is always going to have a limited life. This pan has good weight, heats evenly, and is a good size at a good price point. The handle is a little long - that does not bother me much and the rubber cover helps keep it cool. The bottom scratches easily on my stove top but I don't need the outside of the pan to look pristine, I need it to work well. Holding up better than similarly priced pans from big box stores over the first few months of nearly daily use for me. I highly recommend. ... show more

Tramontina pans are my fave! I already owned 2 smaller 10 inch versions which are my go-to pans for eggs, smaller protein portions and veggie sides. But I felt limited by the size when cooking for more than 2 people so ordered this bigger version. Like the others, this larger pan is well made, has amazing non-stick performance, even heat distribution and silicon grip for safety. Cleaning is a breeze! If this pan continues to perform and lasts as long as my others, I will be very pleased. Just make sure you follow the care instructions to keep the surface in top shape (no cooking oil sprays, etc). ... show more

    • Exactly The Pan I Needed

After a few weeks of steady use, I can say confidently that this is a great non-stick pan. Heat distribution is fantastic due to the aluminum base. The non-stick surface appears to be durable (using only silicon and nylon utensils) and no matter how long I have left food cooking, not one issue in simply wiping away any residue before cleaning. The handle is long and the silicon wrap feels much better for "flipping", secure that it won't wobble or fall out of your hand. The only thing keeping this from being a five-star review is the aforementioned aluminum base. You just look at it funny and it scratches. Again, after just a few weeks use the bottom looks like it has seen duty in a commercial kitchen. No staining, although I'm sure that's around the bend, but so many scratches just from washing and use on an induction and gas cook top. You can literally scratch the bottom with your fingernails. This pan is great! It heats evenly and food doesn’t stick. The silicon handle grip is nice and easy enough to remove if you don’t want it on. Since non stick tends to degrade over time I didn’t was to waste money on crazy expensive nonstick pans that would need to be replaced anyway (especially the way my girlfriend abuses cook ware lol). I like everything about this pan. It is heavy duty and sturdy. Very easy to clean. So far, nothing sticks to it. Eggs are perfectly done. I think it is by new go-to pan. Seriously folks, it is wonderful. I hope it lasts for years, but at that price, I got two.

Our front gas burners are massive so we can take advantage of these bigger pans, which is great for doing meal prep type meals. Most stoves probably can't take a 14inch pan and effectively cook in it though. Obviously you are out of luck if you need a lid for this thing. I've used lots of Tramontina pans over the years and love them, much better quality and price than anything else. The coating holds up great, but do not use bamboo or wood spatulas. I don't know what it is, but it will mar up the surface (as some pictures here show). It still functions fine, it's not really scratched, it just looks marred. If you use normal non-stick plastic spatulas and silicone ones the pan will last longer than any other pan. ... show more

Heats nicely and the easiest pan ever to clean. Some reviews boohoo about the instructions not to heat the pan above medium heat. The heat transfers from the burner (electric smoothtop) very evenly and food that is normally cooked with another pan on medium high turn out just fine in medium heat. Great price point for a great frying pan. To protect it though just use wood utensils! ... show more
