Worked great for my primos trail cam. Instructions on how to assemble mounting bracket could have been clearer. You have to insert the plastic tube inside the mount to secure the ball. Also the rubber gasket over the usb charger prevents the cord from going in to charge it. I had to remove the gasket as seen in the photo. Could not get the gasket fully in place after. ... show more

Make sure to check your solar window, where we live we only get about 4 hours of direct sunlight so this was a bit more tricky to get setup where it would get that direct on sun and charge correctly. Just becausse the light is on and detects the sun is it charging, or charging enough to power and charge the battery. Once located under the direct sun, this keeps the battery nicely charged and provides continues use to my trail camera. ... show more

I have a trail camera set up near the back of my parent’s property just to view the wild life coming through the pasture. Nothing to hunt, just to view and see what we can see, for fun.
