It’s very durable. Really sturdy top and base. The heat distribution on the surface really does extend to all areas. I had a few eggs cooking in a little corner and had no trouble frying them up. I love the three different cooking zones. Really has helped during my cooks to have all of the food hot and ready at once without burning or under-cooking anything. The grease management has a nice hole in the front portion of the cooking surface. Super simple to get the grease out of the way. All good things with this grill! Rec'd the Traeger Flatrock for Fathers day via Amazon. It is an amazing griddle. The design allows for the best zone heat control of any outdoor griddle I am aware of. The flatrock's name in our house is Rocky...... Love it.
