i bought one of these a few weeks ago and liked it so much i bought another, at a better price by looking around. this is apparently a manufactured item from China that gets badge names printed on the face so if you look around you can get the exact same item for half what some are charging. the unit itself charges initially at that sweet spot of 12 amp, and automatically decreases as internal resistance decreases. so it is fully automatic and perfect for maintaining a garage queen who sits more than it moves. i have two and used trickle chargers on them but they get fully charged and do not maintain unless you remove a clamp and reinstall it. these also have the capability to run high rates of voltage with capacitor spikes that remove sulfates from the plates. highly recommend.

I bought two lithium batteries for my bicycle which is wired at 24 volts. I did not have a lithium battery charger so I bought one. It said 12 and 24 volt but it will not charge lithium at 24 volt. It's a so-called smart charger and is a pain when you have a dead battery. Impossible to get it to begin charging unless it's within its perimeters. I would have returned it had I known that in time. A battery charger is used when you find your battery dead. Why would you make one that doesn't come on when the dead battery is hook to it? That is what it's for. Built very cheap in flimsy but you can access the internals pretty easy.

Charged a completely drained 12V AGM battery. 41AH battery took about 9 hours. Very easy to use. Definitely Chinese quality, but with my once-a-year use, should last a long time. Extremely light gauge wiring and flimsy clamps, but I had no issues. For the price it's a great deal. ($40)

Used this once so far. Trickle charged my jeep Cherokee overnight. It’s nice that it tells you the battery status. Good device for overnight charges on dead batteries.
