  • Works fine, fails safe,doesn't ...
Style: 300Mbps
Installed in Nov 2024 to get stronger WiFi out to my detached garage, approximately 125 ft.. Set up using the cloud software was much easier than expected. Both devices are inside on window ledges and have worked consistently and w/o problems since the install. We get power glitches rather often and the TP Link has always powered up and reconnected without my assistance. A pleasant surprise is that the TP Link acts as an access point so I didn't incur that additional expense to connect the devices in the garage. Using the POE adapters for power, plugged into the main router in the house and used as a wireless AP in the garage. ... show more

  • Too Easy
Style: 867Mbps
I always have apprehension about high tech installs like this because when it doesn’t work, I’m in unknown territory. So after setting it up in my living room, following the directions provided, and waiting a few nervous moments, I had green lights all around. I went ahead and installed it properly and it works perfectly. 170 feet between house and barn with no speed loss. Also I didn’t have to mess with settings because these units are already paired. Basically plug and play. ... show more

  • The Most Reliable Wireless Bridge I've Tried
Style: 867Mbps
At my church I work with the audio visual side of the technology. Our sound booth is in the back of the church, and I don't have a good way to get a wired connection to the incoming internet. Some of our equipment needs a connection and doesn't support wifi. I tried several wifi to ethernet bridge devices, powerline ethernet, and finally this. I'm thrilled with his well this works. It's probably actually overkill for me (the network source is about 150-200' away, across the sanctuary and through two sets of walls), but it's been completely solid since I set it up, and it lets me easily handle multiple 1080P live streams. The setup was extremely easy, he only challenge was getting a decent line of sight, and as soon as I had this basically aligned it picked up the signal and just worked. I highly recommend this if you need to bridge a network wirelessly, and am already considering other places where I can use this. It's a great product. ... show more

  • Easy buy, great point to point
Style: 300Mbps
These preform excellent. Setup was easy; preset them to go into a new customer house and they didn't disappoint. About 200' with light tree and foliage in between yet they don't miss a beat. Comes with everything you will need for PoE powerup. If you need a AC barrel plug instead it want have it. Can't go wrong with this level of performance & price point. ... show more

  • Just what we needed
Style: 867Mbps
These are great! We have a detached shop that's about 300ft away from our house but didn't want to go through the hassle of digging a trench, burying a conduit and making sure we stayed away from the power lines. Setup was easy and they have been working flawlessly for several months, Throughput is great as well. ... show more

  • Range not as promised, hard to setup
Style: 300Mbps
Very difficult to setup, directions were short, app was useless and had to take both to a place with internet and a laptop to setup manually via the web interface, felt like 2001 again. After all that I can only get a connection out to around 130 meters not the 5km claimed. I'm literally 20 meters from what I wanted to connect.... Took so long to figure out I missed the return window.... Absolute junk ... show more

  • I can confirm it works 1km really working
Style: 867Mbps
Tested these to about 1km with trees and buildings in between and this had 3 bars. It works great don’t see any noticeable speed issues but this is being use just enabled network access in the field between to computers with a shared network drive. It suppose to support up to 4/5 clients I think would be ordering another one to test out. Note these is a master and slave relationship with these to make sure the main/master is connected to the main router ... show more

  • Came without cables
Style: 867Mbps
My package did not come with Ethernet cables, so we opened it ready to set it up and there were no cables to connect the AP to power. Disappointed as I was excited to set this up. Can’t comment on quality since I can’t use it.
