This was the easiest PTP I have ever used. I am very impressed with how quickly and easily it installed. I shot the signal about half a mile across a lake and it worked perfectly the first try when only lining up by eyesight. It passed traffic immediately once powered on and has been working great for about a week now. The only complaint is that the connections need a better cover for weather resistance. Great connectivity between remote buildings with easy setup

I bought this to share internet between two buildings on my property that are separated by about 800 feet. Set up was pretty easy and the ability to use the Omada app on my phone to verify signal strength and connectivity was a huge help compared with my previous failed experience in trying to set up a wireless bridge from another manufacturer. I'm still a little bit confused on how the instructions led me to set up logins and passwords on the two wireless units in the bridge, but I got it all working without many issues. Once it was working, it was great. I could achieve full bandwidth at my remote site, matching the performance I could get at the main site (several hundred megabits per second). Almost great

This bridge works well and gets great speeds. It comes with the main and client already paired and is essentially plug-n-play and is easily identified by Omada Controller. The bad news is that for some unfathomable reason, Tp-link gave it a POE port that is passive-POE only. No matter what, both ends require two wires run to them, one for power (either ethernet or DC power) and one for data. It does not support active-POE and cannot simply connect to a POE switch like most APs, etc. I'm using it to get WiFi inside a metal-sided barn a few hundred yards away. WiFi won't penetrate metal buildings, so the bridge is on the outside wall connected through the wall via ethernet to an EAP610 inside the barn. Works great, but requires two wires run through the wall on both ends. What were they thinking? ... show more

Great Product!

These were very easy to install. After mounting them and using a small carpenter’s square to sight along and aim them at each other I connected the PoE cables and they powered up and worked right out of the box. I have WiFi in my shop now. I’m very happy with them!

Good range and easy connect

This bridge works well, and range seems good. I'm not at the extended range that it advertises, but I don't have direct line of sight, going through a couple of walls. I though I would have to mount it to the outside of my house in order to reach the barn, but it turns out I can just mount it in the office and it goes through the wall OK. Be aware that you need to use the POE injectors that come with the unit. I tried using a different POE injector, and also a poe switch, and neither worked. Not sure why. But it works fine with the injector they supply. Didn't test the speed, but I've got 2 remote cameras hooked up to it and they work well. Thought about getting one of the cheaper units that has lower bandwidth or shorter range, but for the difference in price I think this one was worth it. ... show more
