This I believe is the first review that isn’t a Vine Free Product Review for the Tp-link BE77. I purchased the BE77 after purchasing the BE67 which I stated in that review was a solid unit if you were lucky enough to get working units. I had one unit out of the 3 pack units being a dud that went offline every few hours requiring a power cycle to come back online and I ended up returning them. Deeper research led me to believe that the BE67/68 was a gamble purchase. You either got a working product or you did not. And the chances you got a faulty unit in the box was high. After returning the BE67 I decided to wait for a newer model release in hopes that Tp-link would have improved their manufacturing and quality control process. Come in the BE77. I was excited yet scared to purchase due to my previous experience. This time Amazon had removed Free International Returns which made decision even harder. What if the quality control was bad and I had to fork off $$$ for an international return. I decided to bite the bullet and make the purchase. The BE77 arrived 3 days ago. They are ever so slightly wider than the BE67 given they have 10 antennas compared to 8 in the BE67. They have been absolutely solid and were placed exactly where the BE67 were originally. What I immediately noticed was that the BE77 has full signal in wireless mesh mode compared to the BE67 placed in the same spot in high capacity mode (only using 5Ghz and 6Ghz bands for mesh). All content on all devices launch immediately and in their highest quality without buffering or any drop in media quality. Gaming has been solid. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would recommend the Tp-link BE77 to anyone looking for a solid WiFi 7 mesh system. I am now awaiting the arrival of the deco wall mounts and 12v dc extension cords on Amazon to place them more strategically in the house. The reason I didn’t try the BE63/65 was because their 2.4Ghz band did not support WiFi 7 so MLO would be limited. And I was looking at future proofing coming from a Google WiFi mesh system that served me well for 10 years. And the BE85/95 looked too bulky and power hungry. ... show more

Setting up the network was easy, and Wifi 7 is working without issues with the latest iPhones and MacBooks. Reliability has been good so far, but I do keep most IoT devices on a different access point. Coverage is no issue for 2k sqft

This set of TP-Link Deco 7 BE17000 are a good alternative to my aging Asus router mesh network. The setup was relatively easy. I had an issue with connection to my phone and the initial unit. I had to unplug the unit to get the correct lights/mode for setup. Once it connected, it was a painless setup procedure. The options available for the different bands were easy using the app. I would to have more options available for different settings but overall it was worth the price for a WiFi 7 mesh network. The satellite units connected to the main unit easily and the range is much better than my previous setup. I no longer have to worry about a weak connection or reconnecting the satellite units to ensure I have good coverage around my house. I recently switched to the TP-Link Deco BE17000 (3-pack) after using an Eero Pro 7 3-pack, and the difference has been night and day. With Eero, it felt like there was a firmware update every few days, yet I continued to experience major latency issues, especially while gaming. Random lag spikes were common, and overall network responsiveness was inconsistent. I also previously tried the Deco BE85 but had numerous issues and suspected I may have received a bad unit. So far, it appears TP-Link has corrected those problems with the BE17000. Latency is completely gone, gaming is smooth, and overall performance has been rock solid. The range is also noticeably better than my Eero system, covering my home more effectively with stronger signal throughout. This 3-pack feels like a premium mesh system at a much more reasonable value, and I would not be surprised to see it offered at Costco in the future. If you are dealing with latency or reliability issues on Eero, the Deco BE17000 has been a huge improvement in my experience. ... show more

I’m not a tech person. Last time I set up a router it was a nailbiter. This one was super easy. The more difficult part was connecting my 27 individual devices. But now my Internet speed has improved and my devices aren’t fighting each other for a connection. So glad I bought this router.

Nothing but issues with connectivity strength. The old wifi 6 router it's replacing had way stronger connection through the house and that didn't even have satellites. The mesh satellite is only about 20 feet away and has no major obstructions and still has a mediocre connection. Honestly I should have just kept my 2019 budget router. ... show more
