The quality of the product is top notch like all other Toyota products. The kit comes with all the necessary parts, including plastic and metal zip ties and clips. I like the product and I am happy that I bought it. I like that it is OEM and just slightly more expensive than other after market products. After watching a couple of videos on youtube, I found the installation fairly easy. The worse part of the installation is lying on your back and routing the wire under the truck and attaching with zip ties, but if you use some cardboard and slide around it is not too bad. If you are reasonably mechanically inclined then you should be able to do it. At least there is plenty of clearance under tacomas. Once, everything was attached, I clicked my key fob and everything worked perfectly. It is a great addition to a tonneau cover! Now all my stuff is secure and I don't have to take the key out of the key fob anymore to lock and unlock.

Although it was slightly confusing, the "Short Wheelbase" version fits the ACCESS CAB LONG BED perfectly. No instructions included, but with YouTube everything was figureoutable. Surprisingly easy DIY install.

I was initially nervous to do this myself on my 2023 Tacoma TRD OR. But I watched a YouTube video and followed it step by step. I also love the metal zip ties included in the kit and a ton of plastic ties. Amazing and worth the money. I saved about $400 just in labor as a local Toyota dealer quoted me $399 just for labor. Just a small installation tip to save your eyes from dirt LOL. When you run the wire underneath, run it right next to the camera cable (obviously). Still, when you get to the foiled section near the muffler, you can have access right where the rear passenger fender is (You can see the foiled camera cable there too, just tie the tailgate one to it with the metal ties), so you can reach forward rather than staying underneath the vehicle.

Product itself is great, it took about an hour to install. It works as expected. I didn't love aome of the parts I received looked like they were taken out of another truck.

Ease to install in less than an hour. No wires to cut you unplug one factory wire plug and put the provided cabling into the system. Works with factory remote and installs very clean.
