Description

Liqui Moly's Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40 is a fully synthetic, premium low- friction engine oil for all-season use in gasoline and diesel engines without diesel particulate filters (DPF). The combination of innovative base oils - based on synthesis technology and the latest additive technology - guarantees an engine oil that reduces oil and fuel consumption and that ensures fast lubrication of the engine. Depending on the manufacturer instructions, oil change intervals of up to 40,000 km are possible. Ideally suited for modern gasoline and diesel engines with multi-valve technology, turbocharger and with or without charge air cooling. Especially suitable where there are long intervals between changes and heavy duty engine requirements. Approvals from the vehicle manufacturers for Liqui Moly's Leichtlauf High Tech 5W-40 include BMW Longlife-01, MB-Approval 229.5, Porsche A40, Renault RN 0700, 0710 and VW 502 00/505 00.

    • this oil will never let you down
This is the best oil i have used i rebuilt one of the motors and put this oil in it well ran it for 1000 miles for brake in well it did not let the motor brake in had to drain it out and put junk oil in it and ran it again for 1000 miles it was broken in so put this oil back in it now the motor has 100 passes on it and going strong i also run it in the family car and i change the filter every 3000 miles and the oil at 15000 miles the 2.2l motor has going on 300,000 miles no oil leaks and the motor is clean as new checked it all out with a bore scope and i am glade i found this oil and started using it... ... show more

    • Excellent Oil for your Audi
Must be pretty decent been using it in my Audi S4 since 2015, 185k miles later no issues, no check engine lights, very minimal oil consumption, and the care is tuned with dual pully set up and TCU tune. I drive very hard, so using a solid VAG approved oil is a no brainer.

The other day I bought my 2013 BMW 328i 4 cylinder turbo from a car dealership I ordered liqui moly engine flush to use when I change the oil and I refilled the oil with 5 quarts of this high mileage liqui moly 5-40 weight oil I also added one can of ceratec anti-friction treatment and one can of liquid moly mos2 anti-friction treatment when I refilled the oil in the car. As well as using liqui moly complete fuel system cleaner and liqui moly injectron cleaner and liqui moly valve cleaner in the fuel on separate tanks every website I can find says my car is supposed to get a maximum of 33 miles to the gallon on the highway but I was getting an average of 40.6 miles to the gallon traveling 65 to 70 miles per hour Southbound on I-5 on a 100 Mile Stretch. I believe these products really do work and I want to salute liqui moly for making a fantastic product that people can rely on this is just from my personal experience I've never use liqui-moly before but I am extremely satisfied and will use all of their products in the future for every one of my vehicles. My Mercedes E-350 appears be driving very well with maybe a little better mileage 26-27 mpg and a smoother-running engine! I am very happy so far and I plan on buying it again!

Unbelievable... I am unsure if it is this oil or the combination of both this and the Cera Tec that makes my 2010 bmw 328i xdrive coupe purr like a kitten! Actually I think a kittens purr is louder than the sound of my engine now! Truly amazing stuff I must say and a very noticeable difference in engine sound. I have only put less than 100 miles on since changing the oil to this brand so I can not comment on the performance side just yet, only engine sound and smoothness. I highly recommend this oil to anyone driving a foreign car (or any car for that matter) and are unsure which oil to go with like I was. I almost went with Mobile1 0w40 European formula but decided on this instead after doing further research on both. I am not saying Mobil1 would be a bad choice, all I am saying is I am highly pleased with this Liqui Moly and Crea Tec additive that I decided to go with. Just make sure the oil meets the manufactures specs like it does for bmw. I will surly buy this combo again when time comes to change my oil. This oil was night and day on the engine compared to what the dealership was putting in the car. Immediately, the car idled more smoothly and the throttle response felt better. I also saw an average fuel mileage increase of about 2 MPG (according to the car's calculations). Leichtlauf is German for low friction and it accomplishes this with more sulfate ash for lubricity. For reference, the viscosity index of this oil is higher than Castrol Edge (meaning the properties are more stable) One thing to note is that the oil seems to absorb more heat (based on the car's MFI Oil Temperature sensor). If you have a German car with a turbocharged motor, I would recommend this oil over any domestic, American oil brand. Only downside is the price, but I feel it is worth it. ... show more
