i've been using it for several months and testing different modes, checking it's percentage accuracy, etc. auto mode in my opinion is useless for car batteries. the only usable modes are 15 amp and 25 amp. sadly the percentage is way off, not close to accurate. it mainly just shows 5%, 50%, 90%, rarely do you see anything else. other brands like vector and shumacher have a more accurate reading during it's charging. other brands know when a battery is bad and will stop charging it when it sees the voltage refuses to increase. this charger will continue to pump 25 amps all day all night all day all night. it wont' care, it just keeps the current. could be good? but really its just bad because thats outright dangerous. changing modes between lead acid, gel, and agm from my testing perspective observing the voltage and amp outputs over a period of time; seems like it doesn't actually do anything different. with schumacher the different mode option definitely changed the charging characteristics. overall it works, it's much better than the junk chargers made by dewalt. trust me i tried the several dewalt models and all junk. this one at least actually puts out 25 amps as you need it on trucks.

I purchased this charger to replace my old charger that I had for 30 years. What a difference and upgrade to my tools for charging. Here are my observations. Pro: 1. [ Quick Charging] I love the 4-level adjustable current 2A/10A/25A/Auto setting. I can set the charger up to what I need whether I am charging a car battery, motorcycle battery, or tractor battery. 2. [ Fully-automatic Charging] The Auto setting is my favorite because I can setup and let it go. I would setup at the end of a night and let it go all night. It automatically shuts off and the battery is full charged. 3. [8-Stage Charging Program] The intelligent 8-stage charging works flawlessly in the auto setting. The best is the information it displays during the process. Works as stated. 4. [Engine Start & Winter Mode] I have used this mode twice. It provides 100Amps of charge. It helped my get my car started for work on a very cold morning. 5. [Overall performance] No complaints works as stated and meet my needs to dealing with all the batteries in the household. 6. [Price] Product is low price with high quality. Meets my expectations without breaking the bank. 7. [Durability] Case is well built and well mold to stand the dirt and grime of a typical garage. Cons: 1. [Case] A firm case would be nice for storage. Just using the box for storage. Could be an added item to improve the product. 2. [Screen] Screen is average quality for the product. Overall, I would rate this product as a 5 star. It meets my expectation of quaility, ease of use, value for the money and versatility. Excellent addition for normal household use.

If only my ex-wife had a brain like this thing. It's sometimes just as slow but it works and a lot better and it's faithful lol. Seriously though the button to change what type of battery or selected isn't really super active. Otherwise it does a great job recharging batteries and reconditioning as far as I've seen. You can put it on and hit the start button and walk away and it'll do its thing for days when you come back it's happy to say it's done and blah blah blah.

When I first saw this, I was disappointed that it was small and plastic. I decided to try it anyway and it charged the battery really fast. It works really well and now I’m thinking lightweight isn’t so bad if it works good.
