Heats up quick and gets the job done as expected. However, cleaning the pot is a little dicey because the cooking surface of the pot is directly attached to the heating element/electronics which you do not want to get wet. Overall satisfied and willing to take precautionary measures with the cleaning considering the cost to value. Cannot comment on longevity since I've only used this twice.

I love this Topwit pot so much, it heats up nicely, it’s easy to clean and it can hold a lot. You can take it anywhere as long as u have an outlet u can use it and cook anything in it, this is my second Topwit product I bought within the last 6 months and they r perfect.

The full breadth of this multi-functional product may or may not be obvious, and it is worth knowing that you get a lot of bang for your buck! I initially selected this product simply for use as a hot pot, not thinking much of the other functions such as sautéing, frying, deep frying, etc. While I haven't used the other features yet, I recognize the value in this all-in-one design and look forward to using it more fully, especially when camping or travelling. Before getting this product, I had never before thought I could pull over at a wayside and whip up a hot juicy steak! Summer road trips just got more exciting! The only unlikeable factor I've found is just taking extra care when cleaning or washing, as you can't just drop it in the sink to soak or put it in the dishwasher, because the pot is not detachable from the heating element. Nonetheless, I consider this a worthwhile product and a great value.

Our new hot pot is an inexpensive kitchen appliance that can be repurposed as a tabletop cooker for a small gathering of perhaps up to six people. Simple to operate With the simple single knob for low and high heat, a convenient see-through glass lid, and non-stick coating, the hot pot can be used to cook pasta, stews and other dishes. If so desired, it can also used as a sauté pan, as a frying pan, or, with the proper accessory, even as a steamer. My better half prefers to use proper purposed pans. She particularly with not use this electric pot as a deep fryer with the wasted oil and clean-up involved. Not a slow cooker Without temperature controls and a timer, this hot pot should not be used unattended, left to slow cook for hours or extended times. Party cooker Although this particular hot pot may not strictly have the required depth, width and operating specs, versions of Japanese tabletop cuisine such as sukiyaki, yakiniku, shabu shabu, oden, and winter nabe may be cooked and shared by a couple or a small gathering. The device has no simmer mode or temperature slide controls, so when the pot becomes too hot, it just needs to be turned off. Easy to clean but not dishwasher safe The electric hot pot and glass lid is easy enough to hand wash. Care should be taken to ascertain that the device is unplugged. Because the pot isn't built separately from electric heating elements, it obviously cannot be cleaned in a dishwasher. Made sturdily enough and should last for years.
