This little unit is impressive - It includes a Semi-Hard Case, charging cable (which uses USB-C to charge - very popular and inexpensive), sturdy set of battery connection cables / clamps, and user manual. It has a 12v output "Adapter" connector (Round with a center "prong" like a small compressor or cooler would plug into) 2 USB charging ports (for Laptops, Tablets, Phones, or whatever you may need to charge in the absence of another source of power) has a Flashing emergency light, A Work Light, and an LED power reserve display. The thing works like a champ - Two days after I received this I had a dead battery (Car I don't drive much, left out in the cold with a weak battery) - and it fired right off - no hesitation, no question - actually BETTER than a Jump start. Was like I had a brand new battery installed - and its use didn't effect the reserve at all - You can throw it in the seat and take it with you - I know when I jump start a car I'm always worried it will cut off, and without anyone with me, I won't have a way to get it re-started. - With this unit - it's in the seat beside you - so yeah, go ahead and cut off at the store or gas pump - doesn't matter - I'm prepared and ready. Great for independent persons, hunters (in the woods alone) -- travel, kids, (you can't hook it up backwards - well, you can...but it won't complete the connection - it has a built in failsafe !) and it's small - I'd guess it weighs less than a half gallon of milk, and it about the size of a large Cell phone. Since I don't drive my car a lot, the battery seems to die quite often. A couple weeks ago, I asked a neighbor for a jump start and he has a portable jump starter as well (a different brand). It worked so well, I decided to get one for myself. After reading the reviews on the J1200 vs the J2000, I decided the 1200 was probably enough for my needs. Yesterday I went out to start my car and the battery was dead again. I hadn't taken this out of the package yet or read the instructions, so I asked my neighbor again for a jump start. His jump starter was not successful in starting my car unfortunately so I thought maybe it was something else this time. I called AAA for a tow and while waiting decided to try my new J1200 just to see. What do you know!!! The car started right up! My neighbor was stunned because he has never had a problem starting his car with his jump starter. So I called AAA and cancelled the tow. The J1200 was only at 75% charge right out of the package and still had no trouble starting my car. The LED flashlight/strobe light/SOS light works really well too and the fact that you can charge devices on this as well is a bonus that I may have to use during hurricane season if we lose power. The price is great too and it's super light, compact and portable. I highly recommend this product! Update: A neighbor is taking care of a car for an out of town resident. The car hasn't been driven enough and the battery was totally dead. She tried to jump start the battery with her car and it didn't work. I hooked up the J1200, pushed the "boost" button and after a few cranks, it started right up. Only brought the charge down to 75%. I love this thing!

Let me start this by saying working in a dealership I am constantly faced with vehicles needing jumps or dead battery’s. This thing works wonders doesn’t matter the make of vehicle. Chevy,Ford,Acura, or Toyota. This thing starts them right up it’s super easy and simple to use and gets the job done every time. It also has a built in light that’s much brighter and stronger then I expected. Looking for a battery pack usb charger this thing does that as well it’s so nice to use at work then boom back at my desk charging my phone with the same battery. The life of the battery last super long and I prob use it to jump start about 4 vehicles a day. The whole kit fits nicely in a small travel bag and perfectly in a backpack or drawer or trunk. I highly recommend if you do anything outside or adventures in your vehicle or just need a extra reliable block to charge items with. This is the item for you. I was very scripture at first but after getting the product and putting it through the ringer immediately I am super impressed by everything on this product so much so i got a second one for the wife AMAZING 10/10

The jump starter works great but beware that the blue connector on the end of the jumper cables is proprietary. It is not a normal EC5 connector. So if your cables get messed up it will be very difficult to find replacements. I wanted to buy an adapter cable with an SAE on the other end to hook up to my Harley so I wouldn't have to remove the seat every time. But no cable exists. I also tried to purchase the blue connector so I could make my own but that is when I found out it is proprietary and they won't sell you the connector.
