  • Heavy Ladder
Color: Silver Size: 12.5 Feet
It only weighs 27 lbs but it seemed heavy and hard to maneuver by me ( 135lbs woman). Call me sexist if you'd like but, muscle mass does make a difference....

  • Get rid of your stationary ladders.
Color: Silver Size: 12.5 Feet
Excellent product! Perfect for the homeowner, and contractor. Very sturdy, and priced right. Takes up little room in a garage, or vehicle. Maneuvering is easy due to its light weight. I wish I invented this, would buy it again! I'm very happy.

  • Sturdy, compact
This is my second telescoping ladder as I wanted one a bit taller and I liked the outrigger and thought I would like the one button retraction. The one button retraction is great if you extend the whole ladder but if you only want a shorter ladder you have to bunch steps at the top and it’s a bit clunky and awkward. Otherwise it is well made and easy to use. ... show more

  • Great value
Excellent ladder, sturdy and easy to collapse. Option to use partial is nice. The wide base piece makes it very stable. Only thing is the top rung rubber is hard and will damage the surface it rests on so I added a pipe insulation wrap and it works great.

  • Customer support not responsive
The media could not be loaded. I like the concept and the portability of this ladder but when I climb a ladder that is collapsible, I'd like to know for sure that both sides of each rung are locked and it's not going to fail to where i loose fingers other limbs. I emailed toolitin about a year ago with this concern and received no response at all. So my ladder has sat in a storage area for a year now. ... show more

  • Sturdy and very convenient
Color: Silver Size: 12.5 Feet
I'm not a big fan of climbing up on a ladder, but a big Werner folding ladder was one of my first purchases after buying a home, and it's been vital for all sorts of tasks like attic and roof access. But I'll pick this one over it for every case I can think of. I got the 12.5 foot model. It's over 10 pounds lighter, and far easier to move around. It's just smaller when collapsed, and a simple buckle strap locks it all into place. Easy to hold and maneuver with one hand. My folding ladder is much bigger and isn't actually "locked" in its folded position - it only locks into open positions. Opening and closing this ladder is far easier. I kind of jumped in without checking instructions or video, and was a bit spooked when I first pushed red collapsing buttons. That section started dropping right at me, but with about 5 inches to spare, the air cushion kicks in and the section gently (and quietly) finishes closing. And then that causes the next set of buttons to get pushed, so the whole thing closes up on its own. The folding ladder's locking hinges are a big hassle - need to be unlocked again at each angle option. And it takes a ton of space to open or close - really a hassle when indoors. This ladder's maximum length is not as long as the folding ladder (which is 16'), but it's more flexible for the fully-straightened mode. You can leave sections at the top unexpanded and set the length to any number of steps up to the max. The folding ladder really only has 16', 12', and 8' options, and that's often been an awkward fit for some uses. Both ladders feel good & solid. When I fully extended this one and looked up from the bottom, it seemed that there was a little bit of flex with each section. But as I climbed up, each step feels very solid and I didn't feel any overall give. The first, fixed step, seemed a little different - like it had a little move when I stepped on it, but I couldn't find that when just pushing & twisting on it by hand. This ladder requires a little bit of assembly - the stabilizer foot slides into the bottom legs and bolts, nuts, and wrenches for those are included. It's a tight fit even without the bolts, so a little care to get the holes lined up, but still easy to set by hand. The only possible use I might still have for my folding ladder is its standalone "A" positioning. But this one is so much easier to deal with I think I'll look for some way to pad the top so I can just lean it against an indoor wall and avoid scuffs that way. The top ends with a bar and not leg ends like most simpler ladders, but it should be easy enough to tie some padding around the hard plastic caps at the corners. Not to mention this ladder costs about 2/3 what I see my folding ladder sells for. ... show more
