This basketball goal is the best. I bought this for my three year old grandson. It is perfect for him at the lowest setting. It is very sturdy and looks great. He will be using this until he is big enough for a ten foot goal. It raises all the way up to seven feet. I highly recommend this especially for kids between three and nine years old or so. It may very well be in the description, but this is an abnormal size. For most kid's leagues your playing on an 8ft goal. Also, I think the hoop itself is smaller than a regular hoop, they do not reduce that size in kid's leagues. Quality is good, so not complaining in general. This is one of our best toy purchases. Easy to put together (helped that we have a ratchet set), and sturdy for our girls’ usage and they’ve been playing with it a lot. It’s set to the lowest height and our almost 3 year old can JUST stand on her toes and push her little TOTs basketball over the rim. Once she gets to throwing, we’ll raise it which should entertain our 6 year old, it’s too easy for her right now, but she’s still outside playing with her basketball for the first time in years.
