Use a clip-on tuner/app. Standard tuning: G4-C3-E2-A1 (4th→1st string, Top to End). Turn pegs clockwise to lower pitch, counterclockwise to raise. New strings detune easily—retune daily for 3 days. Why deos my new ukulele keep going out of tune? New instruments will take a few days to adapt to the tension of the strings pulling at the body, this can also be affected by temperature and humidity. During this time you'll need to adjust the tuning as and when required at the beginning.
