I have loaded this thing down with fertilizer, grass seed, and bug killer. It has spread everything well. You can spend more for a fancy one with numbers for how much you spread, but no need. I like the cover. I can use it in a rain and keep the media dry. Don’t be afraid to buy this one.

I used this spreader one time; during the initial use the tires kept going flat. The problem is the tubes in the tires were pinched during the assembly of the wheels (prior to arrival), and the drive wheel is too stiff to properly roll causing the broadcast pattern to be approximately 4-5 feet. The spreader does NOT come with any instructions causing one to have to look at the picture on the box to guess how to install the pieces. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. Of course the window of opportunity to return this product has passed but I hope others will heed this warning and make a different selection when needing a spreader.

I had an issue with one of the tires shortly after receiving the spreader. I reached out through Amazon to the Titan team with my issue. The next day they responded with a few questions. I was able to send pics of my issue and 3 days later received the replacement part. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Nice to see a company stand behind their product.

After a year and under 10 applications, the gearbox has failed when loaded. A grinding sound is accompanied by a non rotating spreader. At a price point of $180, any consumer would expect the product to last more than 10 applications. With that said I would highly discourage consumers from buying this product. While customer service was responsive via the Amazon site, no constructive solution was provided aside from the part necessary being out of stock for 4-6 six weeks. Frankly I was hoping Titan would stand by their products and offer a solution that was field facing. I recommend buying elsewhere as this product does not stand the test of time.

Ok, a decent spreader with some issues. I will not blame Titan for the horrible job of shipping the carrier actually did. The box was destroyed enroute which resulted in one of the tires being cut and numerous screws, bolts, and washers missing. However, with that said, there was one piece to the spreader that exhibited numerous places with rust. I contacted Titan for replacement parts (tire, metal stand/rest, and screws/bolts/washers and they were unable to satisfy my request. They wanted me to return the item and buy another one. The take away is that if ANYTHING ever happens to your spreader there will be no support or replacement parts. I would expect they would have parts for a $150 spreader....I was wrong! It functions fine....a little messy when spreading and no way to do the edges of the yard. It spreads roughly 270 Degrees, maybe a little more.

this product was easy to assemble although box was beat up and no manual. looked up manual online. all hardware wrapped in plastic and taped, as were rest of parts except tape. inflated tires to proper p.s.i. 20lbs.wheels worked fine, complaints I read in reviews were about wheels and spreader used for salting, when salting, it doesnt matter if you store spreader in clean, dry, shed, it has to be washed down thoroughly or power washed because of corrosiveness of salt, especially stainless steel parts such as the chute. you take care of it and it will take care of you.
