Shipping was very fast! The box is heavy! The components seem to be very good quality. Assembly takes some time (but I expected this -- and I'm not very handy nor fast). But it was pretty simple to figure out (there is an arrow on the bottom of the seat pointing towards the front for the reviewer complaining it was difficult to figure out). The base is a nice metal (I would have preferred a one-piece, solid metal rather than having to completely assemble the base) that seems sturdy. I replaced the casters with rollerblade style found inexpensively on Amazon (I feel like these are better for my hardwood floors). The chair glides across my floor seemingly effortlessly. The seat seems wider than normal, which I prefer (and I'm not all that big). It is a reasonably thick foam (vs. mesh, which I've got nothing against) and is very comfortable. The arms go up and down, in and out, and forward and backward. I suppose the only thing missing is tilting -- but I would never use that anyway. At any rate, the arms probably do more than I need. I don't know that you can call this dynamic lumbar support. What I do know is that the lumbar support fits me wonderfully and provides just the right support for my body. And the mesh back feels very comfortable and provides the right support. The head/neck support is easy to adjust. It may not be X-chair quality but for about a tenth of the price what do you expect? I'm able to comfortably rock yet can sit comfortably in a stable position as well. I've seen prices all over the board for this chair. I bought during a surprise flash sale = around $170. I'm glad I waited as I was considering much more expensive chairs. Overall, while I just received this chair, it seems like an excellent chair at an excellent price, offers wonderfully ergonomic fit, and is an excellent value! ... show more

I originally thought there was a Design Flaw and that the Chair Did Not Properly Fit Together as there was an Alert from Ticova about the gas cylinder extending too far through the wheel mount on the bottom and hitting the floor. It appeared this was the case until I assembled the wheel base which does in fact provide proper clearance for the cylinder? I had contacted their customer service prior to fully assembling the chair, thinking I had the problem they described in the Alert. They were very responsive and showed me a picture that helped me understand that everything was fitting and functioning as intended. It took me all of 5 minutes to assemble the chair once I had it unpacked. Works fine, is comfortable and the lumbar, head and arm adjustments make for a good, custom fit. The build quality and material is a bit above average, but I am concerned about longevity and/or durability. We'll see as the months, hopefully years, progress. From Ticova via Amazon notification: Dear Customer, URGENT NOTIFICATION: If you find the gas cyliner touch the floor after assembly, please do not use the office chair first and contact us immediately.     • This chair is a legend.
This chair was designed by legends. First off it's from China. When you think of products made in China you think cheap, quick, cash grabs. This product breaks that stereotype. It's simply well made, great quality, and comfortable (for the most part). For the price it's absolutely fantastic. It does most things those super expensive chairs do. I bought one to check it out but will be buying to more. One for my brother and another for my uncle. Instructions are well written and easily understood. It takes some time to build. But I had fun the entire time. It was like building a Lego set. I was never confused. Always knew exactly what I was doing thanks to the clear directions. These guys obviously put a lot of thought and effort into the product. Here we go. Now we talk about the comfort. The head rest is perfect. You can orient it into many different ways completely customizable. The backrest is also absolutely perfect. You can adjust the lumbar support. And the mesh back creates an absolute stunning support. It also keeps your back from heating up. Because of the air flow. My biggest qualm about this chair is the seat cushion. It is not the most comfortable. But it's still solid. Your butt will hurt if you sit on this chair for a long time. But you're not supposed to do that in the first place. You're supposed to get up and walk every 30 min. It would be awesome if they could add some kind of memory foam. But I understand that could inflate the price. So if you need a chair that's good and you never want to have to buy one again.     • Great chair for the price and superb customer service
After researching ergonomic office chairs for a while, I decided on a compromise between available features and price point, bringing me to Ticova. It's been a few months now and I'm pretty satisfied! I mostly wanted better back--especially lower back--support and I've definitely got that here. There is an adjustment for lower back tension that I don't even have at the tightest setting, but I know it's there if I need it. One drawback is that I wouldn't mind greater adjustability in the height of the arms. While they do adjust some, it would be great if they could lower about an inch or so more. Granted, the deficit here is that I'm not able to scoot my chair in enough without the arms hitting the table I work at, but maybe it is an odd-height table! Anyway, the top reason I rated the chair so highly is that I received some stellar customer service from the Ticova Furniture Support Team (shout out to Chloe!). I encountered a somewhat minor issue with my chair that may have been due to a defective part. After a few emails, the support team figured out the problem and issued me a refund to cover the cost of the new part! Pretty sweet. Take care! ... show more

This chair doesn't hold up over time. Bolts break and fall out, the plastic support base that holds the chair gives out. The chair is initially nice and comfortable, but does not last. I have bought this Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair on July 16, 2022. It has been almost 2 years and it has last me this long. Even i see some reviews not lasting, but it really depends on the person. The seat is very comfortable and the Backrest is mesh and breathable. It's totally worth my money for the headrest adjusted, backrest adjustment and with the spring on the backrest to fit your spine so awesome for that. My height is 5'7 and the headrest is adjustable for taller people. So if you are taller than 5'7 or if you know someone taller give this Office chair a try. I will tell for those who are looking for a great chair for ether gaming or just seating for hours. This chair has not failed me yet and it has been almost two years.     • Great chair if you don’t mind awful squeaking. (Updated)
I revised my rating from 1 to 3 stars. Customer support credited my account enough to pay for a replacement lift cylinder for the chair. They were really easy to deal with and provided instructions on replacing the cylinder. I wish that I could rate the chair higher than a three just for their support BUT…. However, this was still a pain in the @$$. I had to go and buy the replacement part (They should have just shipped one out to me). The instruction video shows someone tap the chair a couple of times with a hammer, and voila, it comes apart. WRONG! Had I not happened to be fairly handy with tools and already owned a plumber’s wrench, I never would have gotten the old part off. For what it is worth, the new cylinder fixed the squeaking as well as the issue with chair slowly dropping to the lowest position when I sit in it. I simply feel that it should hold up longer than it did and repairing it was not as easy as implied. ORIGINAL REVIEW I thought I had stumbled on a real gem of a bargain. I have had the chair for about six months now and the squeaking is driving me crazy. I have tightened the bolts, tried WD40, light machine oil, everything I can come up with. This thing is awful. You can’t even shift position slightly without loud squeaking racket. We are not talking about a little annoying tiny squeak. This is totally distracting. It has been a great chair for my back and was quiet for the first few months. If I can’t figure out how to shut it up, it is heading for the rubbish pile. Money wasted… ... show more

    • Professional Chair at Home
During this remote work environment, I quickly discovered that current office chair was inadequate. Buying a chair over the internet without actually sitting it seemed like buying shoes without trying them on, or buying a car without a test drive. But after much searching and toiling over which chair to buy, I landed on the Ticova Ergonomic Office Chair. It arrived quickly (within the Prime 2 days), and was super easy to assemble. Even included the allen key. I recommend assembling on the floor or have a helper hold some pieces in place while you set and drive a bolt. Once together the chair seems very solid for my 6' - 250lbs frame. The seat does feel a bit stiff upon first use, but I'll report back after some good use and see if it breaks in or not. It is rated up to 280lbs, and therefore maybe firm in order to support that. Otherwise the back and lumbar support is AWESOME! Adjustable in and out, Up and down. The mesh back provides nice support while allowing air movement keeping me cool during my 9 hour days at the computer. Tension of leaning is really easy to increase to support your weight. I would highly recommend this chair to anyone who's working from home. ... show more
