I recently bought a new office chair, and it came with the standard cheap wheels. I have carpet on my floors and didn't want to buy a floor mat, so I got these to replace those cheap ones. They fit perfectly in my chair, and they move great on carpet and are very quiet. I wasn't sure of the quality because the price was very good, but these aren't cheap and feel very solid and heavy. As a big guy I have no worries that these will hold up and last me as long as I have the chair and beyond. If you have a desk chair and it doesn't move very well, you might want to try replacing your wheels with these.

These wheels are perfect to roll against hard wood floor and. Not scratch up anything. I'm pretty tall and they even added some more height to my chair which is really love. The installation was super easy just removed the old wheels and popped these in.

Recently switched from a Steelcase Leap V1 to a V2. I much preferred the wheels on the V1, they rolled smoother and pivoted easier. Instead of forking over the absurd money for the OEM wheels, I figured I'd give the 'rollerblade' style a shot. They installed easily, and quality seems above average. I do have some concerns with the exposed bearings on the shaft (where the post slides into the chair base) - but those should be easy enough to clean and lube. As far as glide goes, the chair rolls very easy - a definite improvement over the plastic wheels. My only complaint is that it takes a bit of effort to get all five wheels oriented in the right direction and rolling. But once you're over that hump, it's off to the races. I believe it's due to the smaller footprint of this style of wheel, compared to the 2" wide plastic wheels. They also tend to 'fall' into the divots on my desk mat a bit more. I'm very happy overall, and would certainly recommend at this price point.

The casters were super easy to replace on my office chair. The ones that came on my chair were scratching my floors and were difficult to roll. Once I replaced them with these, what a difference. No more scratch marks and rolling in and out from my work station is smooth and quiet! Since they roll so easily you have to be sure you hold the chair while sitting down or it may slide out from under you.

I have purchased a few sets of wheels. I bought the oversized for an office chair on carpet or my glass mat. These do not miss a beat. Nice solid construction, the bearings move consistently and are quiet and smooth. For the price, I would put these up against the ridiculously expensive ones as I am getting the performance and comfort out of these ar a significant savings.

Simple things - lifes pleasures are the simple things. These coasters are lightyears better than the crappy basic plastic ones that came with the pc chair. Now I can glide gracefully without effort. Installation was way easier..old coasters popped right out..new coasters popped right in. Get them - great price and you be glad at the difference these make!

I have a hardwood floors in my home office and I had 2 carpets to roll my office chair on. Always limited by the size of the carpet. My dad bought this first and I did right after. We love the smooth roll, no damage to wood floors. Think of this as high quality rollerblade wheels. No marking or streaks. Installation is as easy as pulling out plastic ones and insert new ones. No more dirty carpets or constraint on movement.
