Swapped my stock headlights for these Nilight 7” halos, and I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner. They’re not just brighter—they make the whole front end look meaner, cleaner, and smarter. ✅ What I Liked: Light output is insane – Low beams light the road, high beams light the next county. Crisp, white beam—none of that yellow halogen sadness. Built-in turn signals & halos – Makes wiring clean, and the DRL halos give a modern edge without looking overdone. Plug-and-play(ish) – Came with adapters for H13 and H4. Fit straight into my JK buckets without mods. Adjustable angle – A quick tweak and boom, no more lighting up squirrels in trees. ⚠️ What Could Be Better: Halo/turn wiring takes time – Not hard, just tedious. Plan for about an hour if you're routing it clean. Instructions are barebones – If you're not comfortable with tapping into marker/turn wires, YouTube will be your best friend. Be ready for anti-flicker talk – If your Jeep throws a tantrum (mine didn’t), grab anti-flicker adapters. 🔧 Install Tips: Wire halos into your running lights for DRL effect. Tap amber signal into turn wire using a T-tap or solder—don’t trust twist caps. Align beam pattern on a garage wall at night before final tightening. ⭐ Final Verdict: If you want headlights that actually do headlight things—and look slick doing it—these are the move. The lights themselves look good. As a headlight, they function fine. However, the daytime running lights and turn signal do not function properly in a JK. In order for the turn signals to function, you need to have the DRLs on. JKs do not come with a dedicated DRLs. This means you have to run a separate 12v powered on with the ignition to the DRLs and they need to be on all the time or the turn signals will not work. This becomes problematic because most states require front facing lights to be white or amber only. Running a colored light, especially red or blue, is not street legal. I expected to hook up the red ring to a switch, only turning it on when off-road. This disables the turn signals. I really wanted the ring and turn signal to operate completely separate. My other complaint is the color. The red are not a bright orangish red like the pictures, but a pinkish magenta. ... show more
