Basically plug and play for ps5/4 Works via usb port What I like is you can still have your normal controller and this joystick working at the same time. Perfect to grab a copilot to handle functions while you use the joystick or switch back and forth solo Good upgrade if you’re only using a basic controller. If you’re on the fence, get it! It won’t break the bank! ... show more

I love it. I am very satisfied, I just hopes it last longer than the last generation of HOTAS.

    • It's something for the PS5
Style: Microsoft Flight Sim Edition Hotas 5 - P...
Although it is not as intuitive as some set ups out there, it is something that works for the PS5. It is plug and play, but consider changing a couple key bindings for better flight experience. Works well for all planes and helicopters. It's a smoother flying experience than the controller. You can still use this, the controller and a mouse/keyboard for more button controls. Until something else better comes out this is the only option. ... show more

    • Not plug and play for PC!
Style: Microsoft Flight Sim Edition Hotas 5 - P...
Very disappointed. Just received it yesterday and although it's advertised as "plug-n-play," the profile in my MSFS 2024 is absolutely blank on my PC. Maybe it works well on PS4/5, but not PC. Yes, I downloaded and installed the drivers, read the manual, shut down and restarted the computer several times, made sire it was in the correct mode, etc., and no profile. MSFS 2024 supports downloading a profile and installing it, but there is none for this kit. This is not an isolated issue and many are saying "Wait awhile, it will eventually be fixed." There should be fines levied against companies that advertise and even emphasize things like "MSFS 2024 ready" and fail to deliver. Even my old setup several years old loads a profile. This one is completely blank. I would need to go thru hundreds of bindings, figure out which one I want, and create my own profile. This would take a couple hours since there are so many bindings and MSFS is very complex. I would recommend avoiding this for awhile, until it's sure they've corrected their false advertising. ... show more

    • Cable length

Hardwired cable is only 6 feet. So, if you’re sitting on your couch you’ll need to get a usb extension cable most likely. Otherwise it’s a good product and easy to use.

I have only gotten this to work with Microsoft flight sim on ps5. Won't work with ace 7 or any other flying game even tho ace 7 was able to work with the hotas4. Seems like a waste of money for it only have functionality with one game! Also even though i bought the ps5 version you still have to change modes when you get it so the LED light is red for ps5 use ... show more
