Been needing a new one for so long and my husband love this one! The gold is smooth and amazing. No design mess ups. Rubber on the outside handle is nice(black and gold) and the rubber on the inside is even better on my controller. The purple tye dye is just breathtaking and I hate using it because it’s so pretty! The controller WOW'd me when I opened the box. The colors are absolutely beautiful and one of the prettiest Xbox controllers I have ever owned (and I've had a ton, even ones I've customized myself). Haven't tested it out yet, but I will definitely edit this post once I do! EDIT: Amazing controller!! However, in the last photo of the left joystick (and the right one has it too) it's starting to turn a dark color and I don't know why. Now, only my boyfriend and I use this Xbox Series X and we constantly wash our hands. Has anyone else had this issue with this controller? Otherwise it's flawless! I've tried cleaning it off and it doesn't budge. EDIT EDIT: After a closer inspection, I believe it is NOT the joysticks getting dirty, but them actually losing their color from use, AFTER ONLY ONE WEEK!!. If this is a case I may have to buy covers that are black for it. It's a shame. I really thought this controller was gonna last a while. ... show more

I am not a professional gamer, nor do I play my Xbox for hours on end. My previous Xbox 360 controllers still work. I have heard they can break but I have not experienced that so far. Well like I said in the title, I like the styling on this one. It's a nice design. The Xbox wireless controller is on its face, a quality product. It works well for a while. Unfortunately, these things do eventually fail because anything with moving parts eventually fails. However, given the price of these things, it's really frustrating to have to buy a new one every 6 months to a year. Buttons start to stick, analog sticks begin to fail, and bumpers don't get me started on the bumpers. All of the bumpers have on the controller itself inside a thin layer of material that prevents plastic on plastic contact. However, that little thin strip of material tends to wear down over time. Worse, it tends to come loose in small pieces and gum up the works inside your controller. Meanwhile, the bumpers that no longer have these little pieces of material, start to go clack Clack clack clack every time you press them. Eventually if not taken care of, these will also start to fail and stick. If you're going to spend this kind of money on a controller, it should last more than 6 months. Unfortunately the warranty is only good for 3 months. They know this thing fails after a certain amount of time, especially with heavy use. But they make money off of controllers. So they're going to keep making a product that is designed to fail. ... show more

This is a great controller. I bought the Velocity Green model because at the time, it was both on sale, and one of the more attractive colors available, although I only needed it to connect to my PC for gaming. It came with a set of batteries and full set of instructions and hardware information. Once it arrived, I plugged in the batteries it came with and had it up and gaming in a matter of minutes. Two things to know when buying one. 1) It's new, so buttons and sticks will be firm until it's broken in. That could make game play a little awkward at first, especially for FPS players. 2) It burns through batteries fast. Invest in a good rechargable battery pack (or packs) if you don't want to have to keep buying disposable batteries. ... show more

I orderd this because my dog decided out other controllers were a chew toy. When they came in, they were easy to hook up and connect to the Xbox. They even came with batteries which I was not expecting. The color is bright and vibrant. The plastic is easy to clean, and yes we learned our lesson on leaving the controllers where the dog could reach them. Thank you! ... show more
