Upgraded from g920 after a year and its a whole world of difference. The wheel just feels way better and makes the sim racing experience much more immersive. It was also easy to setup and mounted on the cheap wheel stand I had before (with some fiddling on the pedals)

    • I love my Moza R5, but its limited the games you can play
The feel, the power, the wheel all its a 9 out of 10, excellent product. The only bad things its the lack of compatibility for other games. I would recomend you to buy this for casual sim racing on F1 and Asseto Corza, but the other games you wont be able to play with this particular base.

Initially I had my eyes set on the Moza R9, but it wasn't offered in a bundle like this. I thought "The R5 will hold me over until I know how much I'll actually use a wheel and pedal setup." but the R5 has much stronger force feedback than I anticipated. I don't see myself needing to upgrade. I've used this wheel on the new Forza Motorsport, DiRT Rally 2.0, and Assetto Corsa Competizione. It's added so much life to these games after being a controller player for so long. Currently my R5 is mounted on a Next Level Racing GT Lite folding cockpit, though it doesn't accommodate the Moza R5 all too well, it gets the job done. I haven't had any issues with it. The Moza Pit House program allows you to tune the wheel's force feedback and it very intuitive. The program will also auto detect games that will utilize the wheel, and those games can be launched through the Moza Pit house and the proper settings for the wheel will be automatically applied. I'm very satisfied with this product so far, and I recommend it to anyone that can afford it. ... show more

I recently got back into sim racing. In 2019 I had a TMX from thrustmaster but lost the space to use it after a move to Cali. Fast forward to January 2024 and I got the itch to get another wheel for the new Forza and also Assetto. I grabbed a G920 on sale and hooked it up to my PC. I felt rather underwhelmed by the force feedback. Decided after a month I should’ve gone for a direct drive to begin with. Sold the G920 and picked up the Moza R5. Granted it was $100 more expensive on Amazon than through Moza directly, it was closer to $50 considering shipping costs when ordered thru Moza AND I didn’t have to wait weeks for it! That’s worth the extra bit to me. I have ordered the clutch pedal and brake mod thru Moza as they’re not on Amazon but hopefully they will be carrying them in the future. This Wheel is without a doubt THE GO TO entry wheel you should be buying. It has enough torque to provide great force feedback and can even tire you out on some lengthy sessions. It offers so much more realism and detail compared to gear driven or belt driven wheels like the Logitech or Thrustmasters. I even considered the TX or T300 but after reading a ton of negatives about them I decided Moza was my best option and I have ZERO regrets. You will absolutely fall in love with your racing games thanks to this fantastic package from Moza. I do recommend you buy the brake mod at a minimum to add some better braking pedal feel, not that the stock brake is unusable. I also recommend you look into a sturdy wheel stand unless you have a dedicated cockpit. I ordered the Marada X stand from Amazon which is a copy of the GT Omega Apex and it’s perfect for this wheel. 5.5 Newton meters is way stronger than I was expecting. Glad I didn't go for the strongest Moza. My kid plays a bit so it's also a safety consideration. The Pit House software is solid. There is a mobile app. I have my own load cell pedals but they did listen to feedback and made the brake pedal in this kit stiffer, it visibly has a thicker spring. I don't like how far down the mounting bracket sits, I bang my legs on it sometimes, so I need to hard mount soon. And the power button is a bit odd. But those are minor complaints, overall the thing is a rock. They have a good wheel ecosystem, they're innovating. This was a very expensive setup even a couple of years ago. And last, I had it shipped in a few days. Some of their competitors are notorious for stocking issues and shipping delays. ... show more
