Great product. I am just getting into sim racing and if you are reading this, you already know the price range of all of the peripherals one this one is a great value. I can say that there is minimal flex and this seems very sturdy. I am 5 foot 10 and 240 pounds and it fits me very well.It took about an hour and a half to put together. The seat is very comfortable. My wife is 5 foot two and we had to put a pillow in the chair for her to use it although she was just checking it out and does not really race. The pedal plate can be adjusted by bolts, there is no lever that adjust them. The shifting plate also has some adjustments. It was super easy to set the video monitor. The positioning of the monitor is perfect. We found the directions very easy to follow and had no issues. Especially on the first half of the set up, there’s an advantage to not tightening the bolts all the way until you get closer to the end. I did feel that this was a little low to the ground and a little challenging for me to get out of. We built a platform. Used 2 x 12 x 6and some deck boards. It cost me $32 at Menards to build and took me an hour. if I had to do it over again I would use 2x8 or 2x10 and make that stand a little bit lighter.

It arrived earlier than expected and was very well packaged. The individual pieces were powder coated, wrapped in plastic, and secured in styrofoam cut-outs inside the box. The monitor stand was packaged in its own box (inside the big box), which made sorting/assembly more manageable. Assembly was straightforward, all the holes lined up and everything fit together as they should. All bolts, washers, nuts, spacers, and etc were sealed in plastic and labeled. Most importantly, there were no missing parts. The integrated monitor mount provides consumers an option for a self-contained cockpit. It allowed me to tuck it away in the corner. I've been using it for a week and find it comfortable, sturdy and solid. For this price point, I'm impressed with the quality of the material, well thought out design and workmanship. It is very functional; far more sturdy/stable than I'd hope for. I would recommend this cockpit. Oh, it's heavy, probably upward of 40 pounds. Some of the design considerations worthy mentioning: 1. diameter of tubular frame is large and beefy enough 2. the metal brace on each side adds rigidity, allowing the different sections to work together as a single solid frame. 3. the seat reclines and slides. the wheel/shifter/pedals mounts are adjustable so one should be able to be comfortable in it. Overall, I am very impressed and satisfied with my purchase.

The ARES WING Sim Rig is made of high quality materials and goes together fast (about and hour and a half by myself). Cushioning on the seat is comfortable for longer sessions and the adjustability was perfect for a short guy like me. I ran into a couple of tight pre-theaded holes in the base frame under the seat that took some effort to put together, other than that, instructions were clear and concise. I am using this right with a Logitech G29 wheel and pedals. Both the wheel mount and pedal board feature high levels of adjustability and proper mounting holes for most setups. I would however be wary of adding some higher force direct drive wheels to the mount without increasing the structural integrity. Overall, this rig provides great comfort, rigidity, and adjustability for the price. I can definitely recommend this to those who may not be looking to pay for an aluminum rig just yet.

Seat is absolutely amazing for the cost! I used a larger TV so I had to modify the amount a little bit, but I didn’t have to drill any holes. If you follow the instructions where it specifically tells you not to over tighten or fully tighten the bolt, no drilling is needed. The seat is extremely comfortable, but definitely not for larger people. Steering wheel and pedal angle is perfect and both are extremely sturdy. My only complaint is that I wasn’t able to order two at the same time.

Spent maybe 2 hrs assembling and also the monitor mount comes with the brackets that attach to your monitor so you don’t have to buy anything else which was a nice plus. Very satisfied with build quality.

Solid rig for a beginner. I'm running a Moza R3 wheel and pedals with no flexing. Assembly was easy with no issues. Left side of seat does move a bit, but as another reviewer mentioned, it can be fixed with a zip tie. I raised it 6”off the floor with bed risers. Seat cushion is not comfortable. I added a memory foam to improve for long stints. I attached a second monitor up top and a button box on the side.

Its been an amazing addition to my 1st sim experience. I absolutely love it and its adjusting capabilities, my 7 year old son can play if setup the right way (may have to get a lil creative to make it fully work). Also the reclining option may get u in a nap every so often haha
