It arrived earlier than expected and was very well packaged. The individual pieces were powder coated, wrapped in plastic, and secured in styrofoam cut-outs inside the box. The monitor stand was packaged in its own box (inside the big box), which made sorting/assembly more manageable. Assembly was straightforward, all the holes lined up and everything fit together as they should. All bolts, washers, nuts, spacers, and etc were sealed in plastic and labeled. Most importantly, there were no missing parts. The integrated monitor mount provides consumers an option for a self-contained cockpit. It allowed me to tuck it away in the corner. I've been using it for a week and find it comfortable, sturdy and solid. For this price point, I'm impressed with the quality of the material, well thought out design and workmanship. It is very functional; far more sturdy/stable than I'd hope for. I would recommend this cockpit. Oh, it's heavy, probably upward of 40 pounds. Some of the design considerations worthy mentioning: 1. diameter of tubular frame is large and beefy enough 2. the metal brace on each side adds rigidity, allowing the different sections to work together as a single solid frame. 3. the seat reclines and slides. the wheel/shifter/pedals mounts are adjustable so one should be able to be comfortable in it. Overall, I am very impressed and satisfied with my purchase.

If you look at the reviews, many people of larger stature praise it. The frame is thick metal, well built, and the hardware was flawless to put together. The mounts are almost perfect for my G29... The wheel mounts perfectly, but I could only line up 2 out of 3 screws for the pedal set. It works absolutely fine though... No flex, nice and rigid, and lots of options for pedal angle, wheel position, etc. The seat sucks but go to your local pull a part and grab a cool seat and retrofit it on. :) It's a great frame and mount for your sim setup, but plan on getting a better seat. It has great mounts you can adapt to.

The ARES WING Sim Rig is made of high quality materials and goes together fast (about and hour and a half by myself). Cushioning on the seat is comfortable for longer sessions and the adjustability was perfect for a short guy like me. I ran into a couple of tight pre-theaded holes in the base frame under the seat that took some effort to put together, other than that, instructions were clear and concise. I am using this right with a Logitech G29 wheel and pedals. Both the wheel mount and pedal board feature high levels of adjustability and proper mounting holes for most setups. I would however be wary of adding some higher force direct drive wheels to the mount without increasing the structural integrity. Overall, this rig provides great comfort, rigidity, and adjustability for the price. I can definitely recommend this to those who may not be looking to pay for an aluminum rig just yet.

Definitely not a $1000 cockpit! You get what you pay for, But for the price it’s pretty good. It’s small and compact. A lot of adjustability for the pedals and the motor for the wheel. Overall has good quality. However I did run into a couple issues. The seat rail only locks on the right side so when using pedals it does move just slightly. I did also run into an issue with the mount for the motor. When in use there’s just enough play for it to rattle and pop. Justin with customer service has helped me with all these issues and we worked out some solutions to make it better.

Very sturdy rig. Holes line up more or less perfectly for the mounting of the wheel and pedals. Box arrived pretty banged up but the contents were packed well so that nothing was damaged. Overall I'm happy with it. I do have two complaints though. First, the seat is not super comfortable. The padding is a hard foam and while it's fine at first, after a couple of hours it gets pretty uncomfortable. Second, while the movable seat, and tilt and height of the steering wheel are good, the fit is a little off for a taller guy like myself. I'm 6'4" and need to either have the wheel closer or my pedals further away. I have the pedals set as far as I can but I still have to bend my knees quite a bit to get the wheel in a comfortable position. If future versions of the product could take taller folks into consideration that would be great.
