I purchased this product at the recommendation of my provider who felt that other OTC Vitamin D selections were inferior to Thorne. I was taking 2 capsules (2000 IU each) daily to bring up my D level and it just wasn't working so she suggested this brand and raved about the studies she had read regarding Thorne. My blood work will be repeated 3 months after starting this product - hopefully I'll see improvement, especially with increasing to 5000 IU daily. The capsules are easy to swallow and leave me with no aftertaste. A little pricey compared to other vitamins but "fingers crossed" that it's worth the increase.
