  • Happy with X1000
We had explored different dash cams and decided to give X1000 bundle a try. The dash cam was small and came with the rear camera. We also purchased the OBD which worked perfectly for me to install. The recording pictures was clear and the Parking surveillance mode recorded the pictures at night and stored it in the SD card. I noticed that there was a beep warning when your car hit a pothole. It had FCWS function on this dash cam. The only thing is it did not come with the pry tool. I have decided to purchase a second one for my other car. Can't wait to receive it and will give review again. ... show more

  • A money saver
Worth the money. It paid for itself by proofing the drunk driver (blew over .08 twice) made an illegal u-turn from the right lane. The insurance savings for not being the at-fault driver was more than repaid. Unfortunately, we lost a very reliable car.

  • Not the newest product - get something else.
This is an outdated product and I would recommend going with higher resolution product "ARC" from the same company. The company that makes these are very reliable - no questions on that. As soon as I received this product I returned it and got the newer product.

  • Dependable
Using this brand for ALL my cars. Easy to connect to phone and download footage, good quality, dependable. Totally recommended.

  • Straightforward install and great quality
The install was pretty simple (WRX and CX-5). The harder part was tucking away all the extra wiring for the rear dash cam. But, I like the ability to set the voltage cutoff so your battery doesn't drain during parking mode. This dash cam is a large step up in video quality over the Toguard I used to have. The only downside is that there's no cabin camera. I hope they'll add an inner camera for add-ons later on so that way we have all bases covered for coverage. Update: I've had the camera for a few months now in both my wife's and my car. I've fiddled with the settings ad nauseum and I can't adjust the sensitivity. Any bump in the road and it beeps as if it were an accident. I have a series of road humps on my street and every hump *beep*. It's pretty annoying. It's good that we know it'll record an actual accident as an accident. But this seems overkill. ... show more

  • Great security.
My wife loves them in her car. I have an older version and it seems they worked out the kinks in this one. Easy to install. I picked up a couple fuse adapters at the local car store and found appropriate fuse locations. (One hot all the time, one hot only when the car is on). Makes me feel better about her constant driving. ... show more

  • Works great
The camera works great but I have to say it was rather complicated to run all the wires. I wouldn't have been able to do it but my husband is a mechanic and knows how to easily remove molding, etc. to hide the wires. We are still looking for a dash cam that records behind the vehicle for our pickup truck which has a topper and the rear glass as well as the glass on the topper is tinted. Any suggestions would be welcome! ... show more

  • Worked well for 2 years and now failed
It worked well for 2 years and now the front dashcam has completely failed. The LCD screen has gone blank and it is not recording. LCD screen is unresponsive to touch. Tried the reset, which didn't fix it.
