I have 2 older, high milage cars and so I thought this might be a good, inexpensive tool to have based on a review by a popular YouTube personality. Used this to diagnose intermittent issues on a 98 4runner. For the price, nothing is better than this little guy. If you need to see more detailed information about specific computer modules (especially on newer cars as there are quite a lot of modules in them) then I would look to a higher spec product that can read those, but for your average trouble codes and 90% of issues this thing is a lifesaver. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this scanner to maintain my 2 vehicles. After purchasing this item, they want you to buy a a one-year subscription based software. Just another $50 for every manufacturer (Ford, GM, Toyota, Nissan). Without these softwares this is just another OBD2 reader. Additionally, the additional modules mentioned are upgrades. There's no flashlight, no IR scanner, etc. It comes with a thick instruction manual that's about 1/2", but only 10 pages are in English; the rest are the same instructions in 20 different languages. The real turn off is the additional yearly expense on top of what's already invented. I might just try another brand that's more expensive, but offers no additional cost. ... show more

Ford and Lincoln vehicles are not supported. There is no explanation for this. I cannot return the product. I have been dealing with the return of the product for about 6 days. Both Amazon and the manufacturer do not help me in this regard. The product really does not deserve the Star. Customer service and customer satisfaction sucks. ... show more

Out of the box looked great until you try to register it. Was previously activated several months before I bought it and I couldn’t access some features because of that issue. Contacted the manufacturer about it and was basically told to buy a different one and offered no help. Wouldn’t recommend.
