I originally got this for my husband, cuz he was talking about getting one for some time. Well we both use it when cooking every meal! The value for the money is great. Its easy to use and accurate. We rely on this now when cooking any meat. Its easy to read as well with the light that comes on and when the light shuts off. Its helped cooking become easier and sometime quicker cuz now we're not over cooking food lol. Very helpful kitchen device! And it's magnetic to can stick it on the oven door or the fridge for easy access while cooking. Takes up no space at all.

Excellent product with very good build quality. It works perfectly, and the temperature readings are accurate and reliable. It arrived in perfect condition, and I am very satisfied with adding it to my kitchen. The backlit display makes it easy to read the temperature even in low-light environments, for example when measuring food inside the oven, even if the oven itself has a light. The probe is thin and sharp, allowing it to penetrate the meat easily without damaging it or requiring force. I have already used it several times, and having the exact internal temperature of the meat makes a big difference. It allows you to remove the meat from the oven at the right moment, avoiding undercooking or overcooking. While this is a basic feature of any thermometer, this model makes the process especially easy and convenient. The price is absolutely worth it. It is very affordable, especially compared to similar thermometers in my country, which can cost up to three times more. Highly recommended.

I broke my previous model of this device and I bought this to replace the broken one. It works okay, with a few nice upgrades: * The thingy comes on when you "open" the metal wand that you stick into the thing you're checking * The backlight comes on by default * It can withstand light cleaning (I wouldn't soak it in water, but you can quickly rinse it or wipe it down with a soapy sponge to get rid of any grease) The thing that I didn't like was that it felt "slow" when measuring a temperature. It could just be that I forget the speed of the previous version of this product. If you are measuring something hot in the oven, you will likely be uncomfortable at the heat while you wait for the probe to figure out the temperature. Temperature accuracy is good. It works well. It's "techy" looking and that's fine. But it's really easier to use than the design implies. The thermometer turns off automatically when you snap the probe back into place.

This thing is super handy. It is the best thermometer that I've ever had and it makes me trust my cooking for the first time. I keep it in the drawer next to the oven. It is instant when you open it up the screen comes on and you can either have the light on or just the digital version. And it is instant. When I deep fry chicken, if you just poke the side when you pull it out with a fork it instantly reads what temperature it is and is very accurate. The display is very easy to read and it is really bright. I'm definitely glad we purchased this. If I'm remembering correctly I think my girlfriend's dad had the same one and it prompted me to buy this one.

Great thermometer! Works as it should. Way better than my old off-brand one. Its fast and the display inverts to the side that you are holding it which is a very cool feature. Screen is very nice and big and easy to see and its bright.
