Absolute beast for mushroom foraging/ hunting, and real-world preparedness i Bought this GOYOJO GW192A thermal imager for spring morel hunting in the Oklahoma woods and it has become one of my favorite pieces of gear besides my G315. I take it out every time I’m foraging and it is unreal how well it works. The thermal contrast picks up the slight temperature differences in the ground and leaf litter where the mushrooms like to fruit cooler damp spots stand out like crazy even in thick brush or low light at dawn/dusk(not so well midday) . I’ve found clusters I would have walked right past with just my eyes. Zero guesswork, just scan and boom ,morels popping on the screen. It’s just as handy around the house. I found a cold spot in the wall where insulation had settled and a tiny water leak behind some baseboard trim before it turned into a big repair bill. Saved me a ton of money and headache. I also found a Hotspot in my ceiling that im not sure what its from . Ps being a home owner sux 😆. On the preparedness side, this thing is pure gold for SHTF scenarios. If things ever go sideways, being able to scan for heat signatures from people, vehicles, or campfires without giving away your own position is a massive advantage. Same goes for urban combat/tactical training applications, it spots hidden movement through smoke, foliage, or darkness that normal eyes or even good NVGs can miss. And for actual hunting? Game changer. Picked up a big doe bedded down 80 yards out in thick brush at last light when I couldn’t see her with binoculars. Hogs at night are stupid easy to locate now too. The 192x192 resolution is sharp enough to tell body heat from background clutter, and the USB-C plug-and-play design is idiot-proof no extra batteries to forget,or have to remember to charge just plug it into my phone and go. The App is simple to operate as well ,as soon as u plug it in it instantly connects (after initial setup) and opens the app . the multiple palettes are great, and the temperature readings are pretty spot-on. Pocket-sized, super lightweight, tough, and draws almost no power from the phone. If you’re into outdoors, home repair, or just want a legit thermal tool without dropping a grand, stop reading reviews and buy it. Best $80-ish I’ve spent on gear in years. Highly recommend.

Got this thermal camera to check out possible insulation gaps in my home as there are parts of the house that are noticeably colder in the winter and hotter in the summer. This clearly showed me areas where the insulation is not adequate down to seeing the actual studs in the wall. I like that this is compact compared to a purpose-built full camera device and the portability can't be beat pairing it with my iPhone. This sits in my tool bag for the next project and is great to lend to friends and family. Certainly recommend for just how useful and easy it is to use this thing. I haven't used it with an Android device, but the iPhone app was straightforward for me to use.

The Image quality is actually quite nice. I will say that I am a little less than impressed with the fact that there was no zoom capability to zoom in and out on targets. It is very easy to just slip it into a pocket and carry it wherever you need to go and then slap it right in when you need it it is a very good value for what you’re paying for. Realistically, I was not happy with the connectivity due to the fact that I have a lightning port phone and had to use an adapter absolutely love it. It works really well seven out of 10 I would buy it again.

Our electricity bills were way too high, and one room never stayed cool with the AC on. I suspected insulation issues and needed proof to show our builder for a warranty claim, so I decided to try this thermal camera on my Galaxy phone. It worked like a charm! I was able to immediately see where external heat was bleeding into the room. Capturing images right from my phone was effortless, and now I have undeniable photo evidence for the builder to fix the issue properly. Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this because it was on SALE they cross out $199.00 and on Sale at $99.00 which I thought it was a great deal! Also the specs were great compared to other for the price and I had IOS and it’s said that it’s on the description that IOS is coming soon and it came with the lighting adapter from type c to lighting.. So I thought cool why not just used my old phone till the iOS app to come.. So I finally got all my equipment and everything to start my cell phones repair business and I came from long way to coming along till there’s still no iOS app for it!!!!! I bought it march 31st 2025 and then I just went to this item to return it back since it doesnt fit my needs.. Then I find out I can’t return it!!!! Because they close it on May 2nd of 2025 which I never even used it yet and I wonder why they only give you short period time to return it but by the time you notice that the iOS app isn’t coming then be to late to return it ……… ANOTHER THING soon the sale was over the original price was $120.00 which another bull crap because it was never $199.00 before.

Decent, if it's compatible with your phone. A few notes: * Sensor is actually 96x96 pixels, it's upscaled to 192x192. * The Android app won't work on some newer phones, at least the Pixel 10 series. This might be because of 16KiB page alignment introduced in Android 15+, but I've still not gotten it to work on my Pixel 10 Pro even in 4KiB mode. Used to work on my Pixel 6 Pro. * Gets a bit warm in use, and definitely works the phone hard - likely the ML upscaling in the app. * It's a white label/repackaged Hikvision product (HIKMICRO Viewer app reskinned), likely derived from the HIKMICRO MiniE (which *does* claim 96x96). Not sure if it's bootleg, or rebadge. I've reverse engineered enough of the app(s) to make it run on a laptop using my own software, I'll update once it's ready for release.

Amazing thermal camera. Super tiny, sturdy case to carry it in, and very quick. Great price for the quality of the camera. Used it to find some heat leaks in our 115 year old house, and also have used it to diagnose a bad wheel bearing on our trailer. Had some fun getting a picture or two of our pets as well. Small enough and cheap enough I am considering getting a second one to keep in my glove box of my car so that I always have one handy if I need to peek at something. App is easy to use and very straightforward. Works great on my pixel 10a, my wife's iPhone 15 plus, and my old moto g 5g stylus 2023. Worked on my wife's iPad pro as well so it'll work with basically anything as long as its USB c and can run the app.
