  • powerful thermal camera for the price powerful thermal camera for the price
Size: 192X192
I picked up this thermal imaging camera to use with my phone, and it has exceeded expectations. the resolution is much clearer than other compact imagers I’ve tried, and the temperature detail really helps when diagnosing issues around the house. I’ve already used it for water‑leak detection, checking HVAC airflow, and even troubleshooting electrical hotspots. The image quality is sharp enough to pinpoint problems quickly, and the app is straightforward to use on both platforms. Plug‑and‑play with USB‑C is a huge plus It’s also lightweight and easy to carry, making it perfect for DIY projects or quick inspections. For homeowners, technicians, or anyone who likes having the right tool on hand, this little thermal camera delivers excellent value and performance ... show more

I recently purchased a thermal camera attachment for my iPhone, and I am genuinely blown away by its performance. As someone who does DIY home repairs, I needed something that was portable but didn't sacrifice image quality, and this delivers on all fronts.Pros:Insanely Compact: It fits right in my pocket, smaller than a pack of gum. It’s perfect for throwing in the toolbox and forgetting it’s there until I need it.Plug-and-Play Easy: I just plugged it into my iPhone, opened the app, and I was scanning in seconds. The app interface is super intuitive—if you can use your phone camera, you can use this.Incredibly Clear Images: The thermal resolution is sharp, It allows for precise temperature measurements, making it simple to spot water damage or HVAC issues. If you are looking for a high-quality thermal tool without buying a heavy, expensive dedicated handheld unit, this is the way to go. • Easy to use Easy to use
Size: 192X192
Great little camera. Small in size but great picture. If you use a case may have to get an extension for it to plug in properly, good range of temperatures, and gradient adjustability. Just as good as a brand name camera for a home owner. Ability to save video and pictures easily. Great value for the cost. Works great with my iPhone 16 pro. App is easy to use as well. Connects very easily. ... show more

  • Good price, basic unit, works as intended.
Size: 192X192
Works well on android for the price. Keep in mind, this is not a big expensive fleer camera. You are getting what you pay for. But for the basic use case I needed it for (using it on an electronics work bench) it did exactly what I needed it to do. Every now and then it will go into a constant "recalibrating" loop and you have to close the app, unplug the unit to restart it and make it stop. If you are using it with a phone in a case, get a short usb c extension cable. That also let me set the phone down or on a stand on my electronics bench and use the camera separately while attached with the cable. Also allows you to snap and save pics from your testing. ... show more

  • Size doesn't matter lol
Size: 192X192
Absolute beast for mushroom foraging/ hunting, and real-world preparedness i Bought this GOYOJO GW192A thermal imager for spring morel hunting in the Oklahoma woods and it has become one of my favorite pieces of gear besides my G315. I take it out every time I’m foraging and it is unreal how well it works. The thermal contrast picks up the slight temperature differences in the ground and leaf litter where the mushrooms like to fruit cooler damp spots stand out like crazy even in thick brush or low light at dawn/dusk(not so well midday) . I’ve found clusters I would have walked right past with just my eyes. Zero guesswork, just scan and boom ,morels popping on the screen. It’s just as handy around the house. I found a cold spot in the wall where insulation had settled and a tiny water leak behind some baseboard trim before it turned into a big repair bill. Saved me a ton of money and headache. I also found a Hotspot in my ceiling that im not sure what its from . Ps being a home owner sux 😆. On the preparedness side, this thing is pure gold for SHTF scenarios. If things ever go sideways, being able to scan for heat signatures from people, vehicles, or campfires without giving away your own position is a massive advantage. Same goes for urban combat/tactical training applications, it spots hidden movement through smoke, foliage, or darkness that normal eyes or even good NVGs can miss. And for actual hunting? Game changer. Picked up a big doe bedded down 80 yards out in thick brush at last light when I couldn’t see her with binoculars. Hogs at night are stupid easy to locate now too. The 192x192 resolution is sharp enough to tell body heat from background clutter, and the USB-C plug-and-play design is idiot-proof no extra batteries to forget,or have to remember to charge just plug it into my phone and go. The App is simple to operate as well ,as soon as u plug it in it instantly connects (after initial setup) and opens the app . the multiple palettes are great, and the temperature readings are pretty spot-on. Pocket-sized, super lightweight, tough, and draws almost no power from the phone. If you’re into outdoors, home repair, or just want a legit thermal tool without dropping a grand, stop reading reviews and buy it. Best $80-ish I’ve spent on gear in years. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • *** WARNING - does NOT work with Pixel 9 Pro XL or Pixel 10 Pro XL ***
Size: 192X192
*** UPDATE 111725 *** Goyojo customer support reached out and confirmed "this model may have a potential issue" and suggested to return it and offered "20% off if I ordered a replacement package". I'm not entirely sure how the latter would help - the flaw should be inherent in all of these units until possibly a hardware/firmware revision (which may or may not resolve the issue). The rest of this review (see below the line) is still accurate and has not been substantially revised . ======================================================= If this is too long - just read this one line below: *** Does NOT work with Pixel 9 Pro XL or Pixel 10 Pro XL *** Full stop. I purchased this based on a couple of very positive Youtube videos for low priced thermal imaging cameras and also reading some of the reviews for the listing here. I should have read them all - because more than one person discovered what I did - this will NOT WORK for later model Google Pixel phones, such as the Pixel 9 Pro XL and the Pixel 10 Pro XL (which I have). You will find others reporting this issue on the official Google Pixel support forums and Reddit, etc. - I'm not sure if it doesn't work with all Android 16 phones or just those Pixels. One person said he found it worked on an old Pixel 6. I have a bunch of Pixel phones, going back to a Pixel 5, but I'm not trying any of them. Here's the thing, good or bad - Pixels are the standard bearer for the Android OS, for obvious reasons. You either work with Pixels or get dinged for not bothering to test against them. They might be the 800lb gorilla in the room you don't like, but you better understand why they ARE the 800lb gorilla, or you're in the wrong business. (tbh, after 45 years of enterprise IT and software development, I might be a bit jaded about how this sort of thing should have played out, so forgive me) I reached out to Amazon support - all the usual newbie suggestions are offered - ignore them all. They did offer to replace it or refund my purchase, of course, but I thought I'd go the extra mile - I reached out to James, the person mentioned (by email address) in this product listing for "official support" and while he was prompt to reply - the sole question he had for me ("what version of Android OS are you using?") show a complete lack of awareness for a critical component of the technology he is offering to support. A Pixel 10 shipped with Android 16 - don't ask me that if you're in the business of selling devices to connect to Android phones. Let me save you some time if people offer BS suggestions, also. Pixel 9s and 10s support OTG inherently. There is nothing to enable, disable, toggle, whatever they suggest. OTG just works and works well. It's also not a permissions issue - you can grant this device's software all the dangerous permissions in the world - that will do nothing. Don't bother with "have you cleared your cache, reinstalled the app, updated your OS, restarted your phone, etc". So because this is sort of adjacent to my career, I was within a heartbeat of downloading some diagnostic software from HIK to determine if I could see any data stream at all from the camera. I reviewed similar efforts from other devices to determine would I should expect to see in the data. Then I remembered that's too close to what I get paid to do, and it will just anger me to troubleshoot someone else's technology for a $100 device that has a ton of competitors and decided my time was better spent watching cat videos. I bought it for fun, tbh, because I collect far too many gadgets like this and never use them past the day I get them. It won't work with those phones. It will do nothing. If you plugged a cotton swab into your Pixel 9 or 10 - you will get the same result - the phone sees NOTHING. (Please don't jam a cotton swab in your phone, though. Or your ear apparently, according to everyone. So what ARE they for, then? But I digress.) Hard pass on this one, folks - even if it works for you today on your phone, older Pixel or any brand - it might not work if you upgrade your Android OS or the phone itself. ... show more

This camera is one thing everyone should have in their toolbox. For starters it come in it's own metal storage case. Not too many things come like that anymore. I uploaded 2 pics to show how clean the images can be. Also to show the difference in colors of the temperature Download the App, plug in the camera. Simple as that. You now have thermal imaging capabilities. The app automatically calibrated, no need to do anything to adjust. I bought it to find AC line set before starting demo in one area. The camera detected the temperature of the line instantly. What can I say, inexpensive, works as described, well made, highly recommend. ... show more

  • DIY’er a tool that you don’t already have & like!
Size: 192X192
I recently picked up the GOYOJO Thermal Imaging Camera, and honestly, it’s been one of those tools I didn’t realize I’d use this often. Setup was quick—plugged right into my phone (USB-C) and the app was straightforward enough to get going in minutes. The image quality is surprisingly solid for a compact device. The 192x192 resolution gives clear enough detail to spot temperature differences without having to guess, which has been incredibly helpful for things like checking insulation gaps, finding small leaks, and even diagnosing air-conditioning issues. I’ve also used it around my car and for some electrical troubleshooting, and it’s saved me a ton of time. UPDATE... their Customer Service reached out to me and pointed out that the unit CAN do Celcius or Farenheight, so I switched it immediately! Wow that great!!!. That said, it hasn’t really been an issue because I mainly rely on the color gradients to identify hot and cold spots. Once you get used to the color patterns, it becomes second nature and honestly just as effective—if not faster… for most practical uses. Build quality feels good, it’s lightweight, and it’s easy to carry around without feeling like a bulky tool. For DIY’ers, homeowners, or anyone doing inspections or repairs, this is a seriously useful addition to the toolbox. Overall, great value for what it offers. If you’re on the fence, I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot. ... show more
