Features

  • Those thermal pads are made from a carbon-based polymer with nanoparticles; They have a high thermal conductivity of 62.5 W/mk
  • The non-adhesive and flexible carbon thermal padding can be used repeatedly and, unlike pastes, does not dry out
  • The thermal conductive pad meets the expectations of gamers and IT enthusiasts alike, who are primarily looking for a high quality product from Thermal Grizzly
  • The thermal pad material is virtually non-degradable, so its properties are solid and its lifespan almost unlimited (rumored to be up to 15 years)
  • Suitable for CPU cooling, GPU cooling, and any application that requires the use of pads instead of thermally conductive pastes; Carbonaut is an electrical conductor - avoid contact between thermal pad and transistors or transformers

  • Made my PS4 pro run silent
Size: 32 × 32 × 0,2 mm
This fixed my overheating PS4 pro and now the fan runs near silent. You'll have to cut it to fix properly. Be careful because it tears really easily.

  • This thing is great - works perfectly for my (albeit unusual) application
Size: 38 × 38 × 0,2 mm
I have a OEM case (HP Omen) with a AIO liquid cooler. At some point I decided to upgrade from the original Intel CPU to a AMD Zen 3 CPU via a motherboard swap. Although I was able to get the AIO cooler to fit, and although it fits fairly tightly with normal thermal paste, it seems that the mounting pressures for Intel are different than the mounting pressures for AMD. While the cooler would work well under low power loads (e.g. 60W), the fan quickly spun up to full speed even while the air coming out of the radiator was only slightly warm. Initially I thought my AIO cooler was just going dry or the pump was failing or something along those lines. However, on a hunch I decided to get this thermal pad. When I replaced the thermal paste with this pad, the problem immediately went away. I was able to sustain Cinebench throttle test at around 160W with just the single 120mm AIO cooler and a Ryzen 9 5900x. It turns out the mounting pressures do matter, even though the thermal paste I was using before *seemed* to make good contact - in fact when I pulled off the cooler pump, the CPU came out with it - even though the socket was locked (fortunately neither the CPU nor the motherboard were damaged). In short, if you suspect that the mounting pressure for your cooler might be a little too low, the extra couple mils of thickness this adds might be sufficient to improve the contact. ... show more

  • These things are great!
Size: 38 × 38 × 0,2 mm
I have used these a few times. Not one problem. They don't have any adhesive so you have to install laying down the CPU. They are a bit pricey but they never dry out and can be reused. But it once and you are done. I don't know why everyone doesn't use these instead of paste. And it doesn't lave any mess like paste does. ... show more

  • Great for a ps4 pro but very risky in most applications (consoles)
Size: 32 × 32 × 0,2 mm
I’m not giving it a 5 star review because it came very badly folded and creased but I cut it to fit a ps4 pro apu covered transistors with electrical tape and applied the carbonaut on top of the apu and then closed the ps4 pro and began gaming it does the job perfectly just obviously not as good as thermal paste however the ps4’s have pump out and with this it completely gets rid of it indefinitely. It is extremely quiet with the carbonaut pad quieter than when it was brand new. So yes it’s a good product for my use application and I recommend you buy it for consoles if you know how to apply it well so it eliminates pump out and you basically never have to open them up again. 4 stars just wish the pad didn’t come all messed up on arrival. ... show more

  • Excellent alternative to paste, theorhetically lasts forever, easy to install & no mess.
Size: 32 × 32 × 0,2 mm
I wasn't sure how close this would perform to Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut paste which is basically the gold standard for 10yrs+, but I don't notice more than a 1 degree difference in temps between Kryonaut and this Carbonaut pad when using a 7950X3D and Corsair 240mm AIO while gaming or synthetic stress tests. This is almost always the better choice because it is cleaner, no mess at all, easier to apply, reusable, nearly identical performance, and most importantly this lasts forever and will never degrade like paste does with the "pump out" effect or hardening or cracking over time which causes hot spots and degraded thermal conductivity with age. ... show more

  • Easy to install. Mediocre thermals. Usable but not great.
Size: 38 × 38 × 0,2 mm
Works ok but not ideal for high heat/high performance applications. I'll be going a different direction. High loads overwhelm it quickly.

  • Afraid or annoyed with thermal paste? This is for you
Size: 32 × 32 × 0,2 mm
Im not a fan of thermal paste, I worry Ill put too much or too little and hate the thought of cleaning it up. When I came across this I was very excited! Installation is easy, but just take your time because the pad doesnt 'stick' to the cpu so it slides easily. Also its fragile, I did NOT rip it but apparently people have? Just take your time it really wasnt an issue for me. Big plus its reusable. Performance on my stock11700k and a heavy CPU bound game like Battlefield 2042 with a Silverstone 240 liquid cooler I was getting max temps of like 76 (monitored on HWMonitorPRO for 5.5 hours while gaming) And the 11700k is known to produce a bit more heat than other cpus. Honestly unless you are some serious overclocker I dont see why you wouldnt just use this pad? ... show more

  • Single use, disappointed
Size: 32 × 32 × 0,2 mm
I wanted to try this because it was less messy than traditional thermal paste despite the slight performance disadvantage because it will not dry out and could be reused knowing I would be changing my CPU out in a few weeks. Well, it's a single use product. It adhered to the CPU and no amount of finessing would remove it without destroying it. Pros: Less messy. Will not dry out. Cons: More expensive. Not as effective as quality thermal paste. More expensive then quality thermal paste. Single use. ... show more
