  • GOOD PASTE
Size: 3.5g
A great paste, but beware that it can be hard to work with if you are spreading it out. Thermals are great though and you will be able to repaste a LOT of times with how much is in the 3.5g tube.

  • Just as Good as Kryonaut, FRACTION of the price
Size: 3.5g
The media could not be loaded. You name it, I have tried it. I have been building PC's for a VERY long time. I'm over 40 yrs old, and in my time I have seen a lot of thermal compounds come and go. This is hands down, my go-to paste. This stuff is on-par with TG kryonaut, but costs about the same for a 3.5g tube as a 1g tube of TG does. As many of you know TG kryonaut is exceptionally good paste. So is this, except you are not paying for a name! TG is associated with a famous OC'er named Der8uer. Good guy, good paste, but he's driven the price up on that stuff. This is the performance and value king. It also holds up well for a relatively long time. I've seen this shave more than 15c off of old GPU's and more than 10c off of the temps of CPU's coated with that awful factory glue that many coolers come with. I sometimes have to use other pastes, just because I'm out of this, but I always circle back to GC Extreme. Noctua's H1 and H2 paste is decent, MX-4 is about the same, and this is roughly about a 2c delta better than both, in my experience. This is the right choice. Just buy it. You'll thank me later. ... show more

  • Better than Kryonaut Extreme...
Size: 3.5g
On my CPU with 360 Radiator I'm getting around 3 Degrees better Temps than with the Kryonaut Extreme. It's also a pain to spread same as the KE, but maybe I just need to get used to it and figure out the best method since these are the two best pastes on the market I think so that's part of the compromise. Using the full spread coverage method btw. Temps could maybe be within the margin of error, not sure, since the various review videos seem to go both ways, some show KE as better, others show GCE as better. One thing for sure, the PRICE is better than KE, so GCE might be the better product ultimately. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • For dell G5 SE laptop
Size: 3.5g
THIS IS THE CORRECT thermal paste for the dell g5 SE gaming laptop. read the reviews and reddits and you’ll see this is THE best paste to use to get our heat monsters under control. So if you’re looking for confirmation this is the right paste, this is it. worked for me to get temps down to reasonable temps while gaming. ... show more

  • I bought this and never used it
Size: 3.5g
I'm giving this product 5 stars because Amazon is harassing me to write a review about it. If you want some forbidden icing for your CPU/GPU then look no further, this is graphite flavored icing for a single use cupcake, CPU or GPU. Now, I'm leaving the Oxford Comma off of that last series because I'm not a good person. Believe it. Someday I'm going to be Hokage. ... show more

  • Great stuff for laptops
Size: 3.5g
My Acer Nitro 5 kept throttling while gaming because my CPU was hitting 90c or more. I tried a cooling pad to keep it from getting so hot but it didn't make that much of a difference (a few degrees but didn't keep it from throttling. After some research I found that I should replace my thermal paste on the CPU and GPU. After I replaced it I noticed my computer was no longer hitting 90c and it stayed under 85c and never throttled. I did end up keeping the cooling pad too because it kept my laptop 5 degrees cooler but the biggest impact was the thermal paste. With the new paste my laptop doesn't go over 85c and with the cooling pad as well it stays around 80c. ... show more

  • Best thermal paste I’ve used so far, outside of liquid metal.
Size: 3.5g
I’ve used a variety of thermal pastes, ranging from cooler master, arctic silver, noctua, thermal grizzly etc. I’d say the closest in performance with Gelid is the thermal grizzly kryonaut. However the consistency of the Gelid is much easier to work with and spread. It also compresses and spreads evenly on its own under clamping pressure. I’ve had coverage issues with kryonaut in the past without proper manual spreading. Gelid in one word is amazing. It delivers great thermal performance, in some cases temperatures were double digits cooler than other off the shelf products. This is the 3rd time I’ve purchased this product and I don’t intend on stopping unless there is a change in formulation or something. ... show more

  • Best on the market
Size: 3.5g
I have been using this for years on every GPU and CPU I have owned with excellent results. I have tried so many TIMs over the last 25 years and this one tops the charts for me consistently. It doesn't corrode. It doesn't stain. But it is a bit thick compared to other TIMs out there, which I actually like. Why? Some GPU and CPU heatsinks although rare, will come with a slightly uneven mating hehe surface or the manufacturing tolerances aren't tight enough or maybe there was a manufacturing defect in a GPU or laptop heatsink that causes it to slightly warp when heated causing the contact between the GPU/CPU and the heatsink to come undone a bit. This paste is thick enough to at least alleviate some of those problems, if minor. Something like AS5 just won't cut it in that kind of scenario. As for performance, over the last few years I have personally tested GC Extreme against Prolimatech PK2,PK3, Arctic MX2,MX4, Arctic Silver 5, and TG Kryonaut between an Intel i7 6700K/AMD Ryzen 3900X/5900X and Corsair H115i/CM Hyper 212 Black. TG Kryonaut and GC Extreme perform the best by quite compared to the rest of the pastes. Barring getting into the gritty details...everything is at stock and I am mainly going to give results of the GC Extreme on the CPUs as it performed almost identically to the Kryonaut and both of these swamped the rest. It should give everyone an idea of relative performance. Idles: Hyper212 6700K - 30C 3900X - 48C 5900X - 46C H115i 6700K - 26C 3900X - 42C 5900X - 39C Cinebench R20 All Cores: Hyper212 6700K - 54C 3900X - 84C 5900X - 84C H115i 6700K - 47C 3900X - 75C 5900X - 74C The MX2 actually performed better than the MX4 and PK2/3 and was roughly 2-4 degrees C hotter than GC Extreme idle and 4-7 C hotter under load across the board. For GPUs, it is pretty much the same story. I would recommend this paste over anything else available. ... show more
