Description

My thermal paste is difficult to spread or comes off the surface. What can I do? The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and be free of grease before use. The thermal paste should be at least at room temperature when applied. It is important to spread the thermal paste very slowly during application. How long is Thermal Grizzly thermal paste usable after opening? With proper storage and packaging, the thermal paste can be used for at least 3 years without issues, and in many cases, significantly longer. Why can't I find the thermal conductivity value on the packaging? The typically theoretical thermal conductivity values vary greatly depending on the application, as important factors such as contact pressure, temperature, or surface cannot be uniformly accounted for. Should I store the thermal paste in its original packaging after use? Thermal Grizzly thermal paste packaging is specially coated on the inside to protect the syringe and its contents from UV radiation and other environmental influences. We recommend storing it in the original packaging. TG Kryonaut – 1g TG Kryonaut extreme – 2g TG Duronaut – 2g TG Hydronaut – 1g TG Aeronaut – 1g TG Spatula PRO TG Spatula

  • Excellent Product. 1 year strong and still like 1st application
Size: 5,55 Gramm / 1,5 ml
I bought this paste for 3 different devices: an Asus G20CB desktop, an HP Pavilion desktop, and a 2021 Asus G14 laptop. After verifying that the paste was authentic, application was pretty straightforward and easy since it came with 2 different nib/spatula tips for the syringe of pate. I basically run stock after removing the bloat, no overclocks or anything, but I still wanted to repaste due to improvements to temps. Because of that the 2 desktops didn't see much difference, 3–6-degree Celsius give or take for the CPUs and GPUs. And even now, it is still holding the same temps as it did underload as it did when I 1st repasted it. My G14 however did see a sizeable improvement from what it originally had; CPU saw a 13 degree drop and GPU saw a 5-degree drop. I can't really say if it was because the factory liquid metal application was botched or just old, but this paste does well enough to keep the CPU from going past 85 degrees since before repasting my highs would sometimes reach 100 degrees and prevents my fans from turning into jet engines. It did last a good 13 months before temps are starting to slowly climb, so I will need to repaste soon. Will probably try Hyronaught this time since others reportedly say that it is better for laptop use due to higher idle and heavy load temps. Overall, it is an excellent product (if authentic, BEWARE OF FAKES). Yes, it is expensive, but the performance results do speak for itself and the reputation that it gained as a go-to by known overclockers is warranted; but it is ultimately up to you how much you value that improvement and if it is worth the price. For me however, despite not being an overclocker, it was worth every penny since lowering those operation and idle temps is just another way to have my last longer. ... show more

  • Best paste I've used so far, tried lots.
Size: 1 Gram
Edit - I added some images above to show the contents of the package. I have purchased this paste several times now. Best non-conductive paste on the market hands down. (End Edit). I replaced MX2 thermal paste with this, temps went down from 18C idle 32-36c under load on FX6300 with a GTX 1060 on Hyper 212 Evo to 15C idle and 30-34C while gaming. Prime95 before hit 42C now it tops out around 38 hit 40C one time for a second. My 212 Evo has Duel fans in push/pull config. Great paste. Bought it just to try it out before using it on new build I7 7700K and MSI Z270 Gaming M7 motherboard is on the way. Edit 9/2020 - Many years later and this is still the best non-conductive Thermal Paste you can buy. I’ve since got really big into PC gaming and building PCs for people/clients. I currently have new full tubes of Cooler Master Masterpro Gel Nano, Noctua NT-H1, and Artic Silver 5 which is the only one of the bunch that requires a setting time. These are all great pastes. Most people would say the Noctua NT-H1 is the best but from my experience out of the ones listed the Masterpro Nano performs just a touch better but isn’t as easy to apply. I recently upgraded my system. Ryzen 3800XT, RTX 3080 on the way to replace RTX 2070 Super, 32GB G.Skill 3600mhz CL 16 ram, Asus Prime X570-Pro board, several ssds, two NVMe drives one Gen 3 and one Gen 4, a single 500GB Western Digital Black HDD I’ve had since 2013 to use to store backups and gaming videos/pics, a EVGA G3 Supernova 850 watt 80+ Gold Fully Modular PSU, an internal WiFi/BT 5.0 PCIe card all in a Cooler Master Masterbox NR600 Mid Tower airflow focused mesh case with a glass side panel. My case has all PWM premium Noctua Chromax fans. 3x120mm front intake, 2x140mm top exhaust, and 1x120mm rear exhaust. My CPU cooler is Noctua N-DH15S replaced with duel 140mm Noctua Chromax Black/Blue fans, and the Noctua Chromax Black/Blue heatsink covers to make it look nice. Overall I’d say I have a pretty upper mid/high end sustem. I game at 1440p max settings 100+ FPS regardless of the game. I have all these pastes here and I STILL ordered another tube of Thermal Grizzly for my processor. Nothing wrong with the pastes I listed but this pastenhere is amazing and out performs them all. This is in tons of benchmarks just hit up google. It requires no curing/setting time, is non-conductive, easy to apply, and will give you on average an extra 2-4 degrees lower temps on your cpu. That might not sound like much but when you overclock everything and your system draws a lot of power over the course of months, years, and long gaming sessions having a processor that runs cooler is always better. Not only does it allow it to potentially overclock higher as well as boost higher and for longer. But it also if you run your cpu stock allows your cpu cooler to have an easier time cooling it thus your fans can spin at a lower rpm for the same results which equals less power and a silent system. Overall it’s a bunch of minor things that depending on the user might make a nice difference in their setup. For me spending 8-9 dollars to have the best possible paste I can buy is a no brained. A single 1 gram tube is enough to do 3 applications easily. With my mentioned system above using my case which has great airflow with my Noctua N-DH15S in push/pull my CPU runs in the lower 30c idle, around 50-55C in games maxed out no matter how long I play, and using Prime95 max power max heat stress test after 20 mins which is enough time to hit its top out point it peaks at 68C. That’s on a Ryzen 3800XT that’s set to run wide open with all I could get out of it. You will not fine a better non-conductive Thermal Paste so if the best is what you’re after proceed to hit the buy button. ... show more

  • Outstanding Thermal Paste for Optimal Cooling
Size: 1 Gram
I recently used Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut thermal paste for my gaming PC's CPU and GPU, and the results have been impressive. Known for its high performance, this thermal paste has significantly improved the cooling efficiency of my system, ensuring that my components run at optimal temperatures even during intensive tasks. The quality of the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is exceptional. The paste has a smooth, easy-to-apply consistency that ensures an even and thin layer over the processor surface. This is crucial for maximizing thermal conductivity and achieving the best cooling performance. The 1.0-gram syringe provides enough paste for multiple applications, making it a great value for the price. One of the standout features of this thermal paste is its thermal conductivity rating of 12.5 W/mK. This high rating translates to excellent heat transfer from the CPU or GPU to the cooler, resulting in lower operating temperatures and improved system stability. Since applying Kryonaut, I've noticed a significant drop in temperatures, which has also helped in reducing fan noise as my cooling system doesn't have to work as hard. Application is straightforward. The syringe design allows for precise and controlled application, minimizing waste and ensuring that you get the most out of each gram. The included applicator tool is a nice touch, helping to spread the paste evenly without any mess. Another advantage of Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is its long-term reliability. Unlike some thermal pastes that degrade over time, Kryonaut maintains its performance for extended periods, providing consistent cooling without the need for frequent reapplications. This makes it ideal for high-performance systems that require reliable thermal management. Overall, Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is a top-tier thermal paste that delivers outstanding cooling performance. Its excellent thermal conductivity, easy application, and long-lasting reliability make it an essential upgrade for any computer enthusiast looking to optimize their system's cooling. I highly recommend this thermal paste for anyone seeking the best thermal management solution for their processors and graphics cards. ... show more

  • Good, but not for every use case - a myth about thermal paste
Size: 1 Gram
Let me preface this whole things by saying that Kryonaut is a really good thermal paste for cpus. It helped decrease my tdie temps by a massive margin (over 5 degrees), and thermal conductivity is impressive while being easy to apply. But putting it on gpus... let's just say I bought this before I had actually done proper research because I had heard so much good about it. *sigh* time for the long boring essay... **TL;DR: pump out is bad for long term thermals and this has especially bad pump out. anything with IHS (cpu) gooood, anything without (delidded cpu, gpu, socs, laptops, etc.) baaad A lot of people tend to think thermal paste is either all the same or only look at conductivity. However, with this paste, I figured out the hard way that thermal paste is way more than heat dissapation. Pump out occurs through many repeated cycles of rapid heating and cooling and causes the thermal paste to dissipate outwards and leave little to no paste on the core, usually through a long time period (3-10 years, depending on quality). This is more prominent on gpus as those have no ihs and tend to heat and cool more violently than cpus do. Thicker, more viscous thermal pastes are less prone to this. Unfortunately, this thermal paste in particular has especially terrible pump out because it's thin and watery. It worked WONDERS on my cpu as I mentioned earlier. An already great temp of 65c or so fell to 55-60 while gaming in ambient 22-27c. No pump out issues and it stayed like this until I changed coolers. On my gpu, it worked well - at first. 55c with 8 degree delta between hot spot and core. It almost instantly (within a month or two) started to have bad deltas (meaning pump out was causing die to heat up in certain spots more than others). Delta was around 8c, then slowly rose to 15c+ (worst I saw was 20c) and core temp also rose from 55c to 60c to 65c. When I replaced it with a thicker, much more resiliant thermal paste (thermalright tfx), it has been consistently good at ~57-61c and 10-12c delta for the past 3 months. All in all, it's a great paste that has amazing thermal conductivity (although that standard is nonexistent). your cpu temps will drop if you are replacing old or otherwise low quality thermal paste. However, it's a lot of money for the amount of paste you get, and being the way it is, it is not designed for direct die contact, so bear that in mind. Be aware that different thermal pastes have different use cases, and this is not for gpus. If you want that from thermal grizzly, there is hydronaut and liquid metal (though I have not used either). I personally just recommend arctic mx5 and tfx and maybe noctua nt-h2. ... show more

  • Seems to do the job
Size: 1 Gram
Good product. Tube is more than adequate for one, and possibly two applications. However, due to its nature it is hard to spread evenly, without a lot sticking to the plastic spreader provided with the grease.

  • I was skeptical but hear me out
Size: 1 Gram
I didn’t think this would make much of a difference but it dropped my temps 8-9c during benchmarking and stress testing my 14700k Cons: Have to use the “icing the cake” method and smear it all over for the intel 13 or 14th chips and you barely have enough in the 1 gram tube to get it done. Was kinda sketchy but it worked well Very small amount but at room temp was easy enough to spread Dropped temps during gaming as well but only by 3-5c which is still great but mostly saw results when pushing the system hard. I have a 360 AIO btw Pros: Easy to use Worked well and came with spatula Delivered overnight Allows me to push my system harder and safer ... show more

  • Great product would buy again
Size: 1 Gram
Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut is easily one of the best thermal pastes I’ve used for CPU cooling. Application was smooth and straightforward—the paste has a nice consistency that spreads evenly without being too runny or too thick.
