Got this to replace the thermal paste on my 2016 HP Spectre x360 15 since it was running hot often and the fan would almost constantly be on. Thermal paste came in a syringe style container so it was super easy to apply. I'm not super computer oriented, but I do like to tinker and fix my own things. Months later my computer is running cool and the fan only really comes on if its charging and the battery gets warm. Before my laptop would reach upwards of 145F and now it usually runs around 105F. I'm very impressed by this thermal grease. It keeps my CPU nearly frozen. At idle, it runs at 24 C. With a stress test, it was in the 70's. I do not have to worry about the temps being in the 80's or 90's with this compound. The application was very simple even for a first timer like myself. It's very easy to push the paste out in the pattern you want. I went with the X pattern myself. The only issue is that it ran out of paste when I was finishing off the X pattern. Great quality thermal paste for a high end CPU. Keeps my ryzen 9 7900x3D under 90 degrees C. while heavy gaming(Cyberpunk 2077 on max settings for example) which is really good for that processor. It is a bit expensive compared to some other quality thermal paste but if your going for quality and length of life I would definitely grab some of this! Next time I build with a high end processor I would definitely get more of this paste. ... show more

The performance of this paste is great, there are many online reviews of it. The product is liquid so it's easy to apply, and the included spreader helps with that. The pouch it comes in is resealable so I find that helps preserve the leftovers as well!
