Great product, keeps you cool, helps with pain, or if you just need cooling down. My order came with 2 inserts so I can use one, then keep one cold for later. I like that I can use it on my abdomen or back and when you take them out of the freezer they are pretty stiff, but soften enough quickly, yet stay cold a long time over an hour. Which given its thickness is pretty good. Oh and best part, they fit me around my waist! I am a size 2x + And I was prepared for them not to fit but it has generous strong Velcro straps and it would fit fit me if I were needing a larger size.

Great multi use hot/cold pack. Comes with 2 gel packs that can be used either hot or cold. I like that I can keep one in the freezer for icing and one outside for heating. (instructions for heating in the microwave are on the pack itself) If kept in the freezer, it tends to stay cold for 20-30 mins, which is the normal amount of time for icing. The packs are large so it can be used for various areas, back, thigh, calf, stomach. The wrap is comfortable to use and has ample space to wrap those areas, one size fits most. There is great stretch, but you can still get a snug fit, velcro keeps it locked in place. A mesh pocket holds the pack in place, so it doesn't fall out or move around. Very happy with this product and would recommend for any body aches and pains that need to be tended to with heat or ice.

It's always appreciated when an item serves more than a single purpose. This TheraICE ice pack works as either a hot or cold treatment option. With two gel inserts, the user has the option of heating or cooling those packs to provide targeted relief specifically to the lower back area. Also, with two packs, the belt can be used immediately with the first pack while the second pack is cooling (or being heated). With secure velcro-type closure and elastic bands, the user has control over the amount of compression delivered in order to address whatever issue needs attention. Given the generous size of the belt itself, this brace should fit most users. What really made an impression was the overall comfort of the back wrap. I have tried a number of lower back braces, and this one rates in the very top of that list as far as comfort and usefulness. This is not a back brace which will provide extreme support, but it's not designed to deliver that experience. This is designed specifically for heat or cold targeted treatment. Considering that feature, this item earns a solid 5 stars.

Review of ice pack for back from TheraICE Like the title says, I tried seeing how long this would stay cool. In a room that was almost 80°F ambient temperature, I gave up after an hour. Granted, by then it felt cool, not cold like it did when I first took it out of the freezer. It was truly cold for about the first half hour and then just cool. The belt is very comfortable and a bit stretchy. It is large enough to fit most people. The Velcro-like closure can attach to any part of the belt so it can also be worn easily by thin people. I have no complaints about this product. The cooling power is quite impressive and the belt makes it easy to wear. 5 stars

I don't need this often, but when a lower back pain flares up, this is a life saver. It's very comfortable. High quality and great fit. Comes with 2 ice/heat packs. When frozen, they stay soft for a good fit. Great value for the money.

This is truly the best natural way to relieve back pain! The TheralCE ice pack back brace really does make a difference when you apply this to your lower back with the cold pack enclosed. The fact that they include 2 cold/hot packs is fantastic! This way while you are using one of them, the second one can still be in the freezer. What a great idea! The back brace is very comfortable as well, and really does conform to your lower back. But you can really use this brace on any part of your body. From your legs, to your knees to your shoulders and your arms you will always find pain relief while using the TheralICE ice pack back brace. It's very well made, and if I could give it 10 stars, I would. It's that great! I highly recommend this product!

It loses the chill after about 10-15 mins. I went back to putting actual food freezer gel packs in the belt. Works much better. Also, the belt rolls up in the front while I wear it sitting down.

There is a lot to like with this product. My biggest positive surprise is that it feels really comfortable to wear. You could easily wear this to the office and heat throughout the day. It is slender enough that no one would notice and can be made as tight or loose as you need. I also liked that it included two packs so you can leave one always in the freezer for when cold is needed. There were only a couple negatives. First the negative that plagues all health products... The instructions. They are very limited and hard to find. Initially I searched the bag for the instruction. I finally found the instructions, they were printed on the hot/cold inserts themselves (see photo). The other negative is the instructions don't really give any suggested use, such as positioning or when is hot or cold best, how long to use etc. It just included heating and cooling instructions. Overall this is a great product, it is a pity that it can't be adjusted to be used on the legs or arms (basically it is meant to be worn somewhere around your waist). Tip: you will very likely need much more than 20 seconds to heat the inserts. I suggest moving around the liquid between each increase of 10 seconds. For most I would suspect you will need a total of 50-60 second in order to have it warm enough.
