I use these bands in physical therapy all the time. They NEVER tear. I ordered my own set. The red and yellow came fine. The green had a tear in it! In the middle.... I've never seen this. If the manufacturer reaches out, I'll amend my review. Update: Amazon once again comes to the rescue and sent a few replacement for the damaged band. It must have been a fluke because these bands are top quality! Will buy again. ... show more

    • Buy the non latex ones instead of these
I bought both these and the non latex ones figuring I’d give the latex set to my son and keep the non latex ones. Both sets appear to be quality products and do what they’re intended for, but the latex set has two things I don’t like: 1) after 3 days of airing it still stinks, 2) it’s covered with a powder that gets in your hands and clothes... The non latex ones don’t have either of these problems and are otherwise identical in form and function... FYI, today I tried washing the latex bands in hope of removing both the powder and smell. The powder is gone but the product still has an aweful smell. My recommendation, buy the non latex ones. ... show more

Love these for me and my husband! Can't explain why they smell like cocoa powder but that perfectly fine with me! I love chocolate and what a motivator that is! No stinky rubber as I expected. I sprained my ankle badly last year and haven't been able to get physical therapy. My husband has torn rotator cuffs and though he has medical coverage being a veteran, we can't afford the $30 per visit co-pay required for his 2x per week therapy so I decided it is time we do this on our own at home! I am already feeling a difference and it is just what the doctor ordered. He is pleased we are taking a pro-active stand to help ourselves and approves of these bands. ... show more

    • Great for targeting specific movements and recovering full range of motion.
Used these to rebuild strength after a shoulder injury. It was hard to target the exact areas and types of movement that were still weak so I got these resistance bands. You can find an exercise with a resistance band that works on essentially any movement you are struggling with. I was able to quickly get back my full range of motion after using these bands. I liked that they came in a set of three different resistances so I could start easy and work my way up.     • Super Useful for strength exercises
I got these based on the recommendation of my physical therapist. We use these in therapy and he suggested I buy a set to work with at home. Other than the funky smell that it attributed to anything latex/rubber( which also dissipates eventually and is actually normal) these are exactly what I use in PT. The package helped by labeling them with the color indicating which color was which level. If you're looking for something to assist with strength exercises or just to help work out, I would definitely recommend these. They are long enough that if you needed to cut them down to a smaller size for 2 or more strips you have plenty of band available. ... show more

    • Easy to use
I've been using these bands for about 1 1/2 weeks and have already gone up to the next level of resistance. I am very pleased with them. After reading what some others had said about them breaking, I was a little nervous, but I haven't had any problems so far ... and I'm really stretching them in order to get some good resistance! I'm using the red one now and once I finish with the green one, I will order the next levels up. ... show more

These bands are good for increasing flexibility in the foot and help to heal plantar fasciitis. However I'd love to see them offered with some kind of a handle so my fist doesn't hurt after using it.

    • These are LATEX resistance bands
These bands are fine for most people who are not allergic to latex. However, the product heading "TheraBand Resistance Bands Set, Professional Non-Latex Elastic Band" is NOT correct. The product depicted and shipped comprises latex rubber. The back of the package states, "CAUTION. This product contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions". Thera-Band does make non-latex bands at greater price points that their website states are also powder and scent free. The latex bands do have some scent. ... show more
