Update: I contacted the seller and they promptly sent instructions on how to fix the gap between the doors. My husband was able to adjust the hinges to minimize the gap! We are very happy with this large, attractive, and practical cabinet! Original review: The product came together very nicely. All if the parts were included and all pieces were labeled. Instructions were clear—pictures only, My only complaint after assembly is that there is a 1/2” open space when the doors are closed. Now we have to figure out a way to fill that space. ... show more

    • Get ready to do some retro repair work.

(bought this three months ago, and the inside still smells like the finish. so other reviews that say the same are right) below is still true Have your 3/32 inch drill bit and drill ready, because some of the holes for the door hinges are not drilled out deeply enough to let the hinge screws start. Also some of the holes are slightly out of alignment, but this didn't seem to cause a problem. Have some polymer based glue such as E6000 or Gorilla glue, because the posts that you screw into the panels might pull out when you use the cams on them, and you have to glue them in. Obviously the CNC machine was not working right. Some have said that there is an irritating 1/2 inch space between the doors, there isn't if you know how to use the adjustable hinges. All in all it's a good cabinet, attractive, and fairly sturdy. Shelves are sturdy, and will hold more than the 33 pounds the product description says they will. If you buy one, just be ready to do some repair work. ... show more

So shopping for a food pantry for our kid's college townhouse might scream "go cheap, not good" but I just hate MDF almost as much as paying for real wood. We sprung for this and my teenage daughter put it together with a reasonable amount of frustration (with the provided tools) for her first time doing something like this, so it'd be pretty easy for someone with a little experience and better tools. It's attractive and sturdy, and easy to adjust doors. The back panel is the only part not real wood. Would buy again! ... show more

Wasn’t sure what to expect when we ordered this cabinet. So many are made with pressed wood. They are heavy but not that strong. This cabinet is made with wood and seems to be pretty strong and definitely a great value for the price paid.
