I got this to use when we have blackouts, but I've already been using it regularly. I use it when I wake up at night & don't want to turn on the room light, because it'll be too bright. I use it as is, without attaching it to the wall, I like it to be portable. The touch feature is great; you can change the brightness level by tapping on it & if you keep your hand pressed on it, the light color changes. It is rechargeable & lasts for a couple of days with constant use after charging.

The light is small, compact, and reliable. You turn it on and it comes on. We have a dark entry closet that can't be lit from the room, since you'll be standing in front of the light source no matter where you stand in the room. The idea was to provide light to the closet at need in a way that is easy to turn on. The latter is complicated by the fact that I'm 5'11" and my wife is 5' tall-what I can reach most times she can't. I ordered this to solve the problems. The good thing is that the unique mounting system would make it easy to install: place the double-stick tape (2 are included) and mount the magnetic ball on the surface. There's a wait for the stickum to stick, but that's not a real problem. The third pic shows the ball mount on the inside of the closet door and the magnetic socket on the bottom side of the light housing. Don't worry about the magnet holding the light-pulling them apart is the hard part. Finding the correct position before you do the sticking is really important. I haven't had a need to remove it, but I'm pretty sure it would take the paint off of the fiberboard door to get it off. Once on, you tap the back in the middle. It's not a touch, it's definitely a "peck" to get it to light. There are three light levels from dim (shown in pictures) to bright. Once it's on you can redirect the light any way you need. Not a problem, but maybe a motion switch would be more convenient and more what we'd need. However, the light is very good, finding the location might be a bit tricky. The order seemed to take a little longer to come in but I assume that's partly due to holiday rush shipping.

The media could not be loaded. So this is great little light. I need it for my hallway/closet as the overhead light has never lit the hallway well enough. You apply a tape (included) at the bottom and it sticks to whatever vertical or horizontal surface you want, though I think I’ll have to play a bit with the location since its primarily to light up my closet. There are also holes there if you want to screw it into the wall. As you can see from the video the rollerball allows some turning. Also I tried to show the there is 3 brightness levels and holding down the power button for 2 seconds allows you to run through the different color of lights, i.e. the daylight, the yellow warm, and that bluish light. I do not comment on how long a charge lasts since we all know these usb rechargeagles lose length of charge with time. All in all, it’s a great light. You don’t have to wire a light, which I do not know how to do. I can change out wiring/replace parts, but would not know how to cut into wall and figure out how to establish wiring. So if that’s you too, this light is definitely the way to go. Just be aware that it is small. I do not see a con regarding this light.

This light is compact, easy to use and put out an "ok" amount of light. I am using it as additional lighting on my work bench for when i need just a little more light in a specific area. For that purpose is does pretty well. The magnetic mount is solid and i don't worry that i will accidentally knock it off the mount. I just wish it was a bit brighter but it does well for lighting smaller areas.

First off, I was pleasantly surprised by the brightness. This is being used to go down the stairs to the basement, so needed sufficient light. The magnetic holder is a nice bonus, so it is easily removed to carry with you. It also lets you redirect the light to wherever it’s needed. I do worry about accidentally knocking it off it’s holder, seems like it could easily be done. Overall I’m happy with it. I do wish it had some sort of battery level indicator, there is no way of knowing how much battery is left (the reason for 4 stars).

This is a good item and works as promised. I only wish it came with a remote. In order to turn it on and off and adjust the brightness you have to physically touch the back-side of the light. This precludes you from mounting it anywhere out of reach of your hands. But if you need a light close by it's perfect. I put it on my headboard.

This little light is handy to have. You can stick it on a wall or headboard frame for reading in bed. I wish it were a little brighter but it works fine. The size of the lamp is small enough to not stand out and the style is modern. It adjusts on a metal ball so you can easily let it shine in a wide range of directions as needed. It charged up quickly and after several hours of using it, I have not had to charge it again.
