It’s a very dense read (no pictures), heavy on nutrition and has lots of recipes including main courses, low fat, and many types of treats. It includes specialized ingredients like crushed eggs shells for calcium. It is thorough and includes references at the end. I learned a lot but also felt a little overwhelmed by the amount of information and was not sure I could make the food correctly. Easy to make recipes using readily sourced ingredients. I have 2 boxers each 70 lbs. I think fresh is best. However, I can’t afford to exclusively feed them fresh meals. I buy a high-quality kibble and mix with the fresh food to meet their caloric needs. I’ve made several recipes and the dogs have gobbled up all of them.
