I bought the cleanser+toner duo and waited impatiently for my order as I really wanted to try these. I'm a beginner to skincare and love the bubbles and lather of foaming cleansers. I have acne prone, dry and dehydrated skin but haven't noticed adverse dryness when using foaming cleansers so far. However it's because of my skin type that I recently decided to lean into hydrating non-foaming creamy and gel cleansers for my morning routine. The foaming cleansers will mostly be for the night. These two products are the start of that endeavor and I will repurchase in the future. Thayers is a brand I've heard of and always wanted to try their toners. When I found out about the milky hydration line I knew I had to try. I was not disappointed. The cleanser and toner are both creamy and hydrating. They leave the skin cushion and refreshed. You don't need a lot of either product to cleanse or tone. The toner can be used in your hands as it a smidge thicker than other toners that are watery and slip through the fingers. This toner makes it that you don't need to put on moisturizer but I still do to lock everything in. Bonus that the products are fragrance free. I'm glad I didn't experience pilling with other products like one reviewer said. Instead the toner preps the skin for the rest of the routine to sink in better. It's hydrating and leaves my skin feeling good. That's what I want in my routine. Hydrated, moisturized and protected skin that feels good. I will also try their other toners and the newly launched moisturizers like soak it up.

I am new to the toner world, but have tried a lot. I am experimenting with so many different toners to find something that works for me. I had heard great things about Thayers so I was excited to try. I definitely felt the smoothing, cushioning (almost made my skin bouncy) effect, but there were some downsides. I think this toner is a bit too "sticky" for my taste. Also, when layering some of my other skin care over it, it started to "pill up" a bit -- not sure if pill up is the correct word to use here but it was a very similar feeling in which I was seeing some of the toner and product clump together. So, if you aren't layering after with any other toners, serums, essences, etc... then I think this would work for you. As a stand alone product, great .... but when trying with others, I would try something else first.

i have the same bottle just wasn’t snow mushroom so this is the first time i’m using this one but it looks exactly as the picture. cute little bottle and i really like the feeling of it on my face i usually do my face wash, then this toner n then the snail mucin n then my moisturizer and it’s left my skin looking like glass!!!!

Let me start by saying I never write reviews!!! I have always had sensitive skin. I have battled eczema and rashes that no doctor could diagnose. About 6 years ago I constantly had the rash in the last photo on and off. It burned and itched and felt like I had hundreds of blisters on my face. My dermatologist prescribed me steroids and steroid creams (not great because it thins your skin out over time). I’ve done extensive allergy tests with no answer to what causes this. I just turned 32 and desperately want to be a skincare girly. But the only things I could use on my face were okay sensitive face wash and Aveeno baby lavender lotion! Anything else has caused me to have a reaction. Even makeup wipes would send my skin into a frenzy and I’d end up at the doctors office. I’ve been doing research and wanted to use things that fellow sensitive skin people have tried with success. Along with reading extensive reviews. I decided to try this product (the small bottle in the event it did not work for me) and I am happy to say that I will be purchasing again! There is no stinging, burning or itching of any kind! I mean JUST LOOK AT MY GLOWING SKIN!

I'm not sure what I expected when I first put this toner onto a cotton pad, but it was both more and less liquidy than I expected, if that's possible. It has the consistency of liquidy lotion. Thicker than milk, though. It's like I can't decide if I should apply with a cotton pad or my hands? Either way, it feels great on the skin (although the texture is still something I'm getting used to), but because it doesn't have that thinner, drying out action like many toners, I wonder if it's actually cleaning off any leftover crap on my skin. My skin feels great after using it, very moisturized, and I only use it at night. I have dry skin, so it's lovely. I'll have to update if it causes any breakouts, but a couple weeks in and no issues.

I LOVE this toner. When I first used it I thought it felt weird but i just used too much. It's quite thick so I apply it lastly right before my creams but it feels sooooo good I love it so much I've never had a toner that felt so hydrating.

I have dry skin and use this as a second toner, with hyaluronic acid. Gets absorbed quite quickly, but it does leave a sticky finish which I don’t mind. No scent, milky texture. Really like it overall! I like that they have a smaller version if you need to try out first.
