Great adjustable gate to have if you have dogs that like to bolt and to keep them in certain temporary spaces. One of my dogs is a genius escape artist so I needed extra gates to outsmart him which I did with this one along with other adjustments in our home. This gate fits most doorways. Adjusts to needed size but always measure height & length before purchasing as I read some reviewers say it didn’t fit for them. This particular gate does not have a latch function. It’s more of a slide expanding option with a turn tube to tighten or loosen for adjustability. Simple to install. As for the quality….its definitely for mild to moderate dogs that behave. Otherwise this gate will definitely break as it’s just plastic. The gate is a bit in the flimsy side but will do what it’s intended for. This would be great for kids too but since they have finger sized openings, you’ll have to be careful if they decide to stick their finger in their & get hurt. Otherwise to use to blocking doorways or sectioning off fitted areas. This will do until it breaks. ... show more

Not much to say about this, this is now the 2nd one we own. Great for quick temporary blocking off a hallway or doorway without having to close off the whole thing. Works like a charm, quick and easy.

Let my experience be a lesson for future purchaser of this doggie gate. It's crap. The video makes it look like a snap to put into place and sliding the gate to enlarge or shrink the area. Not so. While I was trying to expand it I thought: Why isn't this an Olympic sport? It took effort. And the lock is also rather poorly designed. I had trouble repeatedly trying to lock the gate in place. Further, good luck trying to align the cups and the gate against the door frame. Again, the video makes it look like a breeze when, in fact, mastering structural engineering would probably be easier. But, then again, what was I expecting for $25 dollars? ... show more
