Having the replacement filters and pre-filters is convenient and keeps my kitty healthier. This is very quiet and it does help our cat to drink more. Our dog will not use it. Filters do need to be changed every 3 weeks, but I do try to stretch it to 4. I was afraid our cat would play in it, but he doesn’t and started using it as soon as I set it up.
