This one looked like it would fit the bill, and the price was so good that I decided to buy 2 of them and also monitor my garage where we have a rabbit that wandered in a year ago and liked it so much that he decided to stay with us. First of all, the setup was super simple. Just followed the provided instructions and was up and running in just a couple of minutes. The night vision is surprisingly pretty good. I have an LED night light in the garage just so I don't trip when I come home at night, and this camera illuminates very well. The one in the dogs room gets it's light from a street lamp and again, illuminates quite well. The two way speaker / microphone works as advertised. Tilt and zoom was another pleasant surprise. I have had it up and running for last 2 days and nights. It is very impressive. Fast easy set up and it moves by screen touch on your phone. Zooms in as well. This was the easiest piece of technology i've ever worked with. It set up instantly. No annoying sign up for this or that prompts-- just scan the little square or type in the address and link it up. I had no issues with my internet connection and there's no range issues ( i work about 25 miles away from the camera location). I got this for piece of mind with the dog sitters and for 40$ this is the best relief of worry as a pet owner you can find. Sound works great- she could hear me when I talked through the camera to soothe her, the pic quality is pretty good with night vision and i haven't had any lagging or freezing issues. The quality of the video is great but it has options to save pictures or videos and they’re just non existent. So if there’s something I want to capture I usually screenshot/record instead. I also wish that it didn’t only be on essentially when you’re physically viewing it. Maybe if it were motion censored or something I’d be able to catch my dog getting ready to have an accident while we’re not home ... show more

I’m going to return this camera. I purchased this solely to watch my dog while at work - I was very excited for the product so that I could talk to my dog when he gets anxious. The first time setup went well, but the moment I arrived at work, it failed. I contacted Vimtag customer service and the only contact they provide is an email (no phone number). I had to leave work to check on my dog because the camera would not work and given that customer support is only available via email, I didn’t hear back until the next day - so I again had no access to view my dog at home. We had to reset our WiFi and the only way to reset the camera in the app was to manually press the “reset button” on the camera - well there is literally not a single button on the camera so there is no way to reset it. I emailed customer service and the email provided by the app was invalid. I’m beyond frustrated and would highly recommend buying a different camera so that your experience might be better. It’s rendered useless at this point, as I can’t reset it at all. Again, do not waste your money on this. ... show more

If you need a dog cam or cam inside the house, this is perfect. I like the 180-360 spin, night vision, etc. The only con is when you speak into it. It sounds static and or just not very clear. Again, well worth if you need an affordable camera. If you would like to talk to your dog regularly without scaring them..haha, then it's probably best to get pay a little extra for a better quality mic. The video quality is very good, day or night. It even captured the movement of fish in the dark, which is a problem if recording is set on movement detection. I ordered this because of the option of SD storage, but there is no place for a card. So the only option to save videos is a subscription cloud. I regret not returning it for this reason. The videos are about a minute each with several second gaps in between, so I missed capturing what I needed to capture on several occasions. However, it was enlightening to see how my pets spend their time. The app is clunky. There is no ability to fast forward through a video. Videos have to be deleted individually, so it takes a long time to clean out a day’s worth of videos. lt would work well if used for live feeds only, or if someone doesn’t mind a small monthly fee for storage. ... show more
