This North Face jacket is so cozy!! The inner lining is super soft and plush-feeling, and the outer layer seems more durable than the typical smooth windbreaker-type material, which I like. It is actually a great windbreaker and it is warm. I've worn it in cooler Michigan fall temperatures like 45-60 degrees and felt totally comfortable. I am 5'3" 120 lbs 32D with an athletic build/shoulders. I got the medium because of reviews and it is comfortable even with a sweatshirt underneath. I love this jacket! The inside is lined with the softest and comfiest material! It’s warm, not too bulky either. This is definitely a fall/spring type jacket but for the most part I can get away with it in central NC winters, too. I originally ordered a small and ended up returning for a medium. I would say if you’re in between sizes or you want a little bit of room you should definitely size up. As far as price and value go, that is going to be very dependent upon you. To me, personally, it was worth the $150 price tag. The small I ordered was marked down to $98 but when I needed to get a different size it was not the same price but I still went ahead and bought it because I fell in love with the interior lining and comfort of it. Because I live in an area where we don’t typically get drastic winter weather, and being able to wear it throughout the winter as a result, I’m happy with my purchase and would buy it again. ... show more

Cute, warm, comfortable. Fits true to size, and seems to be good quality. have gotten lots of compliments on it. I originally purchased in midnight mauve, but unfortunately the paint on the zipper started chipping immediately. I returned and got the mauve which does not have a painted zipper. I think this will look better for longer. Keep in mind when purchasing that some colors come with the painted zipper (which in my experience chipped within 30 days), and some do not. Maybe not important to some, but I felt it looked tacky and couldn’t justify spending $150 on a jacket that looked so worn within days. ... show more
