I like this little drill,I ordered it specifically for a piece of jewelry I needed to repair and I used it as soon as it arrived and it worked perfectly! It is a very small and compact little kit with a large assortment of drill bits and the vise handle is nice looking and comfortable to use with a soft and comfortable grip. There is no strength issue with it as long as you use it for its intended purpose! I used it on a piece of fairly soft metal and it worked a charm,do not push hard on it,do not try to force it,just start turning it with very little pressure and let it work its way into the surface of what you want to drill,once it has a start you do not need to push on it hard. Have a little patience and it will get thru the item you are drilling and wont bend or break. It is very simple to use and should not be a problem for anyone with a little common sense. Use a lot of pressure it is not meant to have applied to it and it will break,use it as it is intended with minimal pressure and patients and it will work perfectly and you will be happy with it! Very compact and easy to take with you if you need to as well,it will fit in any pocket and the case it comes in will keep it all together and safe! This worked great for drilling the small holes in wood. Obviously this is not for heavy duty drilling but it seems sturdy. This works great for drilling the wood and plastic for my models. I bought this drill for use with metal clay after using another drill in which you had to replace the chuck for each drill bit, which was an enormous pain. In this drill, the chunk will accommodate all the drill bits without any adjustment, other than changing the bits. It is easy to use, a good size (a little big for my small hands and the suggestion that it be operated with one hand), well priced and has made my drilling work much easier. I am very pleased with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone, particularly for those working with metal clay. It's actually a nifty little tool! Comes with a good selection of bits and easy to handle! The bits don't have any trouble piercing baked polymer clay and leave a nice opening for earrings! Well, sometimes. I'll have the drill aimed to go straight down and as I'm twisting, I keep it steady. Somehow 85% of the time the bit goes crooked. This has led to me having to discard many pairs of earrings. It's wonderful for simple projects, but if you're planning on using it for polymer clay, you'll probably do better with an electric drill. ... show more
